If you have SiriusXM Satellite Radio, this week on the Howard Stern show they are playing old interviews of all dead people. In 1987, Howard interviewed Frank from the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel (which is right across the street from where I live) and they played the interview yesterday. It was a great interview! They will repeat yesterday's show all weekend so if you have Sirius you should check it out.

At the end of the interview, Howard asked Frank to play the guitar and Frank wouldn't do it because he said he didn't know how to play it anymore.

Is that the same one with Bobcat Goldthwait and Joe Walsh? I downloaded that show back in the days of Audio Galaxy. That was a good one.

No, different interview. Kevin Cronin from REO Speedwagon is there with them but no Joe Walsh or Bobcat Goldthwait.

Ha, in the one I heard, Howard tried to set up a jam session with Frank and Joe, and FZ tried to play the "I don't know how to play anymore" card before finally caving and saying he would do it. Sadly, he still managed to slink out of the interview without playing.
