Thanks for the heads up. I don't like Christmas music and hearing the same discs every year drives me nuts so I always add one new one to the pile. This looks/sounds like it might even get stored in my regular collection as opposed to being shoved in a box with ornaments.

Other ones I like:
Tiny Tim's Christmas Album
The Bob Dylan one
The 2 John Fahey releases

Hmmm... I'm not necessarily the biggest fan of Zorn's Dreamers material, but I sure do love me some Zorn! I might check it out, we'll see, I'm too far behind on material of his I know I love though. Such as electric Masada, Bar Kokhba, and there's even a new Moonchild I haven't heard yet!

It's hard to keep up with Zorn, isn't it? I have purchased many Masada discs over the last year; but of the most recent releases, I think that the only one I have so far is Interzone.

It's available on CD and vinyl too. I don't know if there is a lossless download available or not.

Ah yes, I couldn't see the wood for the trees on the Amazon results page.
It will be available over here in the UK on October 24th so I'll order it on next pay day.

Not that much, though there are a few similarities. Both Zappa and Zorn cite Varese as a big influence.

Just received my copy and am playing it right now while getting the Xmas decorations out of the attic. Fun renditions of holiday classics, and Ribot is awesome as always.
