I recall there were a few sprouts here, so I thought I'd post this.
I've had the immense honour of getting access to some of the band's archives and actually got to produce an album of some key material. Me and Darrin Cappe put together a three disc set documenting the band's first week long Green Sprouts Music Week run. It's some amazing material, especially for a Rheos freak as it ties together some historical threads, and has songs you'll be shocked to hear! Either way, even if you don't know the Rheos, this is them at what many consider their zenith, and damn is it fine! Available for digital download on March 30th!
Here's the promo video.

This is great. Did you and Darrin Cappe put this together?

We sure did! Start to finish! For Rheos fans, it has some amazing unreleased songs, and moments that bridge some conceptual continuity gaps, and show fascinating history on some songs. For the uninitiated, here are a whackload of primo versions of their best songs from what most agree was the peak of their creative period. Yowza!

Oh ya, to make it relevant, Dave Clark was referencing Zappa all week, from the dancing about architecture quote, to saying "Freak me out Frank!" Only one Zappa reference actually made it into the release though. Smily face pumpkin to anyone who can spot it!
