It seems like we are an international community (another great thing frank did) people from finland, germany, sweden.... and I thought it would be a great thread to know where everybody is from, and how young we are.

I must say I learned allot from people in this forum, and there are some great minds here!

Here goes: I am originally from israel (living in the us for the last 17 years), and I am 32 years old.

Lancaster, California of all places. Oh, and I'm 29...

Talk about Zappa History. Actually, it was reading TRFZ book that made me check out Lancaster and I found it pretty nice so I bought a home out here. In less than 2 years the value of my home is up about $100,000 so at least when I move (which I hope is shortly) I will leave making a pretty good sum of money!

33. Just moved to Montpelier, Vermont three months ago, from New Jersey, where I was born and raised.

I've been a Zappa fan since age 16 or so, when I heard "Thing Fish" on Rutgers' college radio. I liked "Dancin' Fool" when I was a kid. I remember seeing the little "Sheik" cover on the jukebox tag in the Diner my Mom and I would frequent, and I knew I'd get more into his music when I was older.

SO PSYCHED to see the official site all updated, WITH A MESSAGE BOARD!!! Can't believe it took me so long to find it. I had stopped checking in, as it had been stagnant for so long. So much new! New CDs! DVDs to come!!! Woo woo!

Alrighty then. Hello to all. Glad to be here.
