What do you guys think of this?

What I see is a lot of corporations like McDonald's are going to infiltrate and make them into a country of heart diseased littering consumers.

The above cartoon is hog wash, Obama is helping fund the Castro regime that DOES oppress the Cuban people, but then he is doing that with the US banking and stock industry, pen and phone indeed.

Numerous people are salivating as to how to get the meth trade -for example- established in Cuba. Get these folks twisted on dope so only their supplier can ease the craving. They ought to be like Singapore in this regard and take a hard line approach to any smugglers. A quick DEATH -if guilty- within the week of capture.

i don't think that is an issue in cuba they are controlled heavily by the federalies , the problem is their freedom, what obama is doing only furthers the exploitation of their people. he required no deal or lessening of the government control, so any money made from more tourist trade goes to Raul & Fidel , which is their government and military. So really this is such a bad thing for the people of cuba, it isn't like they can make a lot of money and be happy, no they will work harder and yes still be under government control. Some folks are saying that with more trade the people will rise up and demand a change in government, i don't see how that can happen, Obama had a bargaining lever; free the people and we will trade, but no, just another chance for obama to see himself as a Pres. changing old policies, look at the Iran deal, basically telling them, do what you want, my voters are stupid. as far as Cuba, if the country is such a great place ,then why doesn't their government let them leave the country?

Just like China the fastest way to get these countries westernized is to give them Wal-Mart and McDonalds and the next thing you know it grows into a house and a car, there government can't stop it, once people get a taste for spending money on shit they never needed before they want more...we just need to give them the stuff get out of the way and everything else will take care of itself...

You have never been to Cuba. China is much more free. you can leave china. In cuba you do not make money like here in a free enterprise system. They are paid by the government. it is a very low wage doctors make 50 bucks a month. Really plook check it out, you are delusional. Now then everything is paid for in cuba, medical, education . But every thing is government owned, and the big catch is . The border is closed to leave.

Some friends of mine went to Cuba a couple weeks ago. They had a great time.

So B-S: you think this whole thing between the US and Cuba was about repression?

You're funny...

No Just Obama trying to do social engineering in another country. recently Anthony Bordain did one of his No Reservation shows in cuba and if you can find it. Very accurate show of life in Cuba. I think it would be great if castro would change the government position. But they are committed to their totalitarian government. The result at this time is all countries that deal with cuba just feeds the gov. and military. Lots of countries are doing so. I say it is wrong, as it is at the expense of the people. Bottom line what type of country does NOT allow you to leave?
