I know there is a Bad Pizza thread. Nevermind that thing.

What about your favorite pizza? Where and what?
Links, toppings, etc. Let us dish out the deets on the pies.

(deets = details, obviously)

East coast has the best pizza. NYC, New Jersey, Philly area pizza is the best from the mom and pop shops.

Fuck that deep dish Chicago afterbirth, menstruation looking crap. IT'S NOT PIZZA! It's fucking garbage.

And California is total shit as well. Pineapple on a pizza? FUCK OFF!

I like a bit of rocket and goats cheese, maybe an olive or two.
A bit of funghi is not to be sniffed at either.
Do I have to post a picture - or do you get what I mean?

Two Boots Pizza. Most are in New York. There are two in LA. Awesome thin crust w/celebrity names for flavors.

MR. PINK - marinated chicken, plum tomatoes, fresh garlic & mozzarella
LARRY TATE - spinach, plum tomatoes, & fresh garlic on a white pie
THE DUDE - our cajun bacon cheeseburger pie: tasso, ground beef, cheddar, & mozzarella
TONY CLIFTON - wild mushrooms, sweet red pepper pesto, vidalia onions, & mozzarella

I like Chicago style, but I'm not picky. I like pretty much any kind of pizza, thick or thin.

^That's that west coast shit jfunk was talking about. New York West Coast pizza? Spinach & Plum tomato will get you killed in certain neighborhoods in Jersey. I like it, though.

You're gonna hype the ny/jersey/philly pizza and then show a plain cheese? Shit.
Knowing east coast pizza as well as I do, I bet that "cheese" pizza has some bargain bin mystery meat hidden under the cheese.
Yes, at some places in the Northeast you actually have to say "with no meat" when ordering a cheese pizza.

I can care where I am (and I get around as most of you know), a good pepperoni pizza sets the bar.

I have had many a good pepperoni pizza all over the country, one of the best was in lower manhattan in New York at a hole in the wall...simply wonderful.

Another worth mentioning is in the high desert by Terri's Fathers house, we have it nearly every time I visit, it's owned and operated by a family that relocate from New York.

Locally in my hobunkin town I have to resort to the best I can get and that is Mountain Mikes.

Due to high sodium levels I've started making my own at home and cut it down to about a 1/3rd.

green & red peppers
spinach
mushrooms
onions
black olives
pepperoni

The pizza on the West coast might suck, but you'd be hard pressed to find better Mexican food.

In australia, they had this thing called the dessert pizza.
You'd go for your regular anchovy with plum tomato pizza, then have to eat another with apples and pears etc on it.

During the slow times at Domino's, we tried different things, like no sauce pizza (surprisingly good, made the crust buttery) and no cheese (not bad). But mostly we traded with other fast food places.

In the Omaha area, my favorite is Valentino's, with Sortino's a close second. And I remember a Shakey's in the 70's....and Frank wasn't kidding.

Don't blame us for that shit, you fucktard moron. It's origins are closer to the east coast!

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Hawaiian pizza is a pizza that usually consists of a cheese and tomato base with pieces of ham and pineapple. Often versions will have mixed peppers, mushrooms and bacon. Another variety consists of pineapple and Canadian bacon. It is the most popular pizza in Australia, accounting for 15% of pizza sales.

Despite its name, Hawaiian pizza is not a Hawaiian invention. The Village Voice, National Post, Toronto Sun, London Free Press and The Chatham Daily News have covered Sam Panopoulos' claim that he created the first Hawaiian pizza at the Satellite Restaurant in Chatham, Ontario, Canada in 1962. A co-owner of the Satellite Restaurant at that time - along with his brother, Nick Panopoulos - Sam and his brother were business partners for approximately 50 years. The brothers would later build off of the popularity of the Hawaiian Pizza and begin serving their next creation - the Hawaiian Burger.

Cheese alone is a poor source of protein. How 'bout some veggies? Just bread, sauce and cheese? No wonder you'ze guys is so constipated.
Or is there some mystery meat under that cheese?

Hmmmm .... anchovies fit perfectly on a pizza, along with tuna and capers. Although spinach and garlic is still the best.

There is nothing wrong with a pineapple and ham pizza. They're bloody delicious. Just because a certain fool has only two types of taste buds doesn't mean the rest of us should limit our food enjoyment so he doesn't feel left out.
