Today my Dad who is now 75 was outside doing all the typical fatherly things on a nice summer day...cooking hotdogs and hamburgers and enjoying spending time with his sons and daughters and his grandchildren.

I understand now more than ever how fortunate I am to still have him around in my life.My brother and father and I went for a walk in the woods and made plans for a canoe trip in August...Then of course in typical fashion we proceeded to see who could eat the most potato salad.

Tomorrow he's going to ride a Harley Davidson in a parade. What a guy!!

We're in the middle of moving, so we postponed father's day until next weekend. Is that legal?

If the card companies make money out of it, then it's fine Feet.

No, that was last year. This Father's Day has been just grand. I'm in the process of reorganizing my CDs. It'll probably take a week to do. Soon we're going out to dinner for some Mexican food.

Here's the text of the father's day card my son made:

Hapy Happy Father's Day! Today is the day we, and by that I mean mom and me, worship you. All hail dad! All hail the king!!

It totally cracked me up. :D

Happy Father's Day. I got no cards and no presents. Got a little cake. But that's okay, because my wife didn't get anything for Mother's day.

I had lunch with my kids at a cool deli right on the waterfront in Sausalito. I had a Club Sandwich and they had Bawston Clam Chowdah

A happy belated father's day!
Unfortunately my father (and I) had to help my sister move yesterday, so we didn't have much fun for it. I gave Dad a toy crossbow, which is possibly the best present I've ever given him. Unfortunately he likes to use me as target. Fortunately it doesn't hurt.

Our Mother's Day is in May which is the same as in the US I think, but Father's Day in OZ is in September.

Happy Father's Day to all the dads on here! Unless you're in OZ. You'll get your turn in September.
