Last saturday i went to my first Rugby match ever. And what a great match it was. Biarritz BOPB against Stade Toulousain. Bopb won 29-21 with 2 (essaies) for each team. The Basques really put on a great show on the field and off. About three quarters of the French national team play for these two teams so there were some really great plays. All in all a great afternoon and my introduction to a fantastic game...Almost as good as Hockey!

Did you see that game !?! Holy fuck! Are these AB invincible or what? They just crushed the french defense and left nothing in their wake. My God !

what Mr G Henry has done here is have a pool of players up to 44 i believe and has continually rotated the players so nobody really knows wtf THE AB 15 is ..
Over the period of his tenure he created a depth within the squad but really the only two players who pick themselves are McCaw and Carter , the rest is up for grabs creating a hunger

Also notice how positions are almost interchangable i.e how many wingers do you know play in the half back position a la Rokokoko ? and we have props scoring tries out on the wing ?

it all bides well for the future of AB rugby but be awares also the world cup looms and most likely the french team that turns up in Paris will not be the same one that is playing in that tournement maybe the names are the same but the tenacity will be intensified

btw you guys threw a lot at us last week , we made a lot more tackles and our defensive line held out

this week in Paris is gonna be the match of the year !
