Well i asked my brother what they were saying in Japanese on that Rube Golberg Video here is what he told me.

Quote:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JD8P4fE8Yn0

What are they saying in japanese?

Brian--

They're saying "Pitagora suicchi". That's the Japanese pronunciation of "Pythagorus switch", which is apparently the name of a kid's science show. Pythagorus was a 6th Century B.C. Greek mathematician and philosopher (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pythagorus).

These video shorts of "Rube Goldberg Devices" (named after the cool American weirdo who drew hundreds of cartoons depicting similar ridiculous cause-and-effect machines) most likely reintroduce this TV science show after commercial breaks.

In the biz, these short video segments are called "bumpers". I did a bunch of them for Nickelodeon, back in the mid-nineties-- see some of the Nick Days stuff that's on my site.

The nearest I got to seeing thwe Bonzo's live was this.......
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Roger Ruskin Spear, the son of Ruskin Spear, was a founder member of the Bonzo Dog Doo-Dah Band, staying with it until its end.

After the band broke up, he continued as a performance artist with his robots in a show called Kinetic Wardrobe. A feature of this was a tailor's dummy fitted with proximity switches, which produced increasingly high-pitched screams when a hand neared its chest.

Roger Ruskin Spear teaches at the Chelsea College of Art.
