Thatcher on Socialism...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=okHGCz6xxiw

This is one of my all time favourite clips. And for a couple of reasons. Firstly, because of how of the opposition admits she, "achieved substantial successful for the economy." Secondly, when she states, "ALL income levels were better off than they were in 1979." And lastly, since it displays how ignorant lefties are regarding economics in general, since they don't even remotely realize that there actually NEEDS to be relative inequality in the marketplace in order for Capitalism to work...

This is an octobass. The lowest note on an octobass is about 16 Hz.

Stunting in 1929 was a lot more dangerous without all the safety precautions you have today. Look at how strong the wind is!

I saw several shows from that tour - including the only time I ever had a front row seat - thanks for posting.

Steve Hacketts Genesis revisited project is really interesting. Last year a 2013 concert at Hammersmith was released (CD and same material as DVD). I guess this is from this set:
Firth of Fifth - Steve Hackett Live at Hammersmith 2013 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ye88TsHrHO4
It's amazing how good this compositions still work after 40 years. He has got a good band together. They not only can play it, they obviously love to play it. Some reviewers on amazon doesn't like the singer, i think he does a great job. Hackett is not only great on guitar, he obviously also wrote a lot of essential songs from the most interesting period of genesis (including the time directly after Gabriel had left the band).
last year also the genesis album "live" was rereleased with polished sound and 20mins more music ('74, same line-up, broadway repertoire). So 2013 was a really good year for genesis fans. 8)

Remember the little tunnel the band walked through? My seat was right on that, 4 rows up the riser. I also saw a show in 1978, in LA.

I hope Steve will come back to SoCal this year. I saw the only LA show last year, w/ meet and greet!
