I still haven't read stieg larsson's novels, so I don't really know how this movie compares to his first novel.
but, the movie was good, and has lots of great swedish actors in it.

saw this recently and really enjoyed it.
watched the other two movies in the trilogy about a week later. liked them too, but liked this one the most.
david fincher's remake is due in theaters soon.
well, since I saw that dvd, I have read all three novels, and they are simply amazing. fantastic.
the author, stieg larsson, was brilliant. it's sad that he didn't get to experience the success of his books.

I still haven't seen the other two movies, though.
really curious about the "hollywood" remake. I can't believe it will beat the swedish movie. 8)

The first movie was brilliant, but the other two kinda sucked. Have you seen the american version yet :?:

I thought all three were really good.

nope, haven't seen the american version yet. looks pretty good from the trailers I've seen, though.
but, of course, it can't be as good as the swedish one. 8)
