Glad you liked the Nader cartoons ronny. I didn't get the same chuckle out of your friend Obama and the Afghan war escalation you voted for. In fact I dont think it's funny at all that Democrats ridicule
any peace candidates while they vote for more war and the futile and senseless destruction of our troops and brothers abroad.
I guess laughter and ridicule is all some folks have left. As Thomas Jefferson said: "Resort is to ridicule when reason is against us."
GO BLUE TEAM!
Ra-ra!BTW, this makes more than 40 troops killed already in the opening weeks of this month
14 NATO Troops Killed in Afghanistan in 2 Days
Death Toll Again on the Rise in Afghanistanby Jason Ditz, October 14, 2010
The record 2010 death toll in Afghanistan is again on the rise today, as two days of attacks across the nation have left at least 14 NATO troops killed. The nationalities of the troops have yet to be released.
Six soldiers were killed yesterday in three attacks, including four who were killed in a single roadside bombing in the south. The other two were killed in separate incidents in the south and the east.
Eight more were killed today in five additional attacks, including three who died in an IED attack in the west of the nation, underscoring the reality that while the south is the most dangerous part of Afghanistan, the war is still very much active across the entire nation.
Today’s deaths bring the 2010 toll to 588, by far the most since the war began. Generally the violence begins to quiet down in November with the first frost, as decades of failed occupations bookending civil wars has left the nation with virtually no infrastructure, and most regions become virtually impassable in the winter.

...and here's a little on Obama's illegal drone strikes into
Pakistan that continue to breal International Law...well come to think of it Obama's strikes into Afghanastan also break International Law. International Law states no country may strike another unless under attack, or imminent attack(incomming fire on the way). Niether Afghanastan nor Pakistan has ever attacked us...
BTW...Officialls always say theuy killed "militants," and even though civillians seem to always fall into this catagory, we cannot legally strike anyone in these countrys, even if we call the civillians or the defenders of thair homelands "militants."
These wars are futile, deadly, AND illegal.
Four US Drone Strikes Kill 11 in Pakistan
Officials Say North Waziristan Strikes Targeted 'Suspects'by Jason Ditz, October 13, 2010
Catching up on their “one a day” average of drone strikes against Pakistan’s tribal area, the US launched four separate drone strikes against North Waziristan today, killing at least 11 and leaving an unknown number of others wounded.
The first attack destroyed a home in the Datta Khel region, while the second two strikes each destroyed vehicles. The final attack hit the rubble from the house, killing two people who were trying to pull people from the house.
The Pakistani officials who reported the attacks to the media termed everyone killed, including the people in the final strike as “militant suspects,” but as has been so often the case there was no indication of any “high value” targets, or anyone confirmed to have major ties to any particular group.
President Obama has repeatedly approved massive escalations to the US drone strikes, which were a comparative rarity during the waning years of the Bush Administration.
Well over a thousand people have been killed in the drone strikes, though only a few dozen were ever confirmed to have ties to the militants, and large numbers were innocent civilians.___________________________
As Pakistan Complains, US Vows Drone Strikes Will Continue
Panetta Claims "100 Percent Results" in Drone SalvosThough Pakistani officials are once again complaining about the regular US air strikes against their territory, CIA Director Leon Panetta today insisted that the attacks would continue. Panetta also was quoted as saying the drone strikes are achieving “100 percent results.”
