Lol, he "knew you'd be surprised!"

Hahaha!!! He did that the last full physical two years ago. I was wearing that stupid gown with the arse opening, he told me to roll over and while I was doing so, he rammed it. I told him don't you give a guy a warning, he stated if he did we'ld just tense up and it would be more difficult. I told him at least he didn't have to use 10lbs of goop now my ass is so lubricated I'd hate to fart. 8)

JonBenet Ramsey Murder Case Dropped, Prosecutor Says

John Mark Karr, a former school teacher who claimed to have accidentally killed JonBenet Ramsey in 1996, won't be charged in the murder because a sample of his DNA didn't match evidence from the scene, a prosecutor said.

Is this Phaze III of 2000 and 2004 US elections?

________________________________________________

Calderon declared Mexico winner

Governing party candidate Felipe Calderon has been formally declared Mexico's president-elect after two months of political uncertainty.

Seven judges at Mexico's top electoral court ruled unanimously that he had narrowly won the 2 July poll.

They rejected allegations by the losing candidate, Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador, that there had been widespread fraud.

Mr Lopez Obrador, whose supporters have been protesting for weeks, said he did not accept the ruling.

"I do not recognize someone who tries to act as the chief federal executive without having a legitimate and democratic representation," he told supporters in Mexico City's main square, the zocalo. Mr Calderon, who will take office on 1 December for a single six-year term, is to give a nationwide radio and television address later on Tuesday.

The court decision came after weeks of legal wrangling over the closest presidential election in Mexican history.

The judges all voted in favour of a recommendation to declare Mr Calderon, candidate of the governing National Action Party (PAN), president-elect and reject allegations by Mr Lopez Obrador that the campaign had been unfair.

The final vote count gave Mr Calderon victory by 233,831 votes out of a total of some 41.6m cast.

Fireworks

The judges criticised political advertising during the campaign and the conduct of outgoing President Vicente Fox, but said this was not enough to declare the poll void.

Outside the court in Mexico City, Mr Lopez Obrador's supporters wept and set off fireworks that could be heard inside as the judges announced their decision.

"This has been fraudulent from start to finish," Claudio Martinez told the Associated Press news agency.

The court's president, Leonel Castillo urged Mexicans to unite and heal the deep divisions exposed by the election and its aftermath.

"I hope we conclude this electoral process leaving confrontation behind," he said.

But that is unlikely in the bitter political climate, correspondents say.

Dialogue

Last Friday, there were chaotic scenes in the Congress when dozens of opposition deputies took over the podium and prevented President Fox from making his state-of-the-nation speech.

Since the election, Mr Lopez Obrador's supporters have been almost permanently camped out in the capital's main square.

Thousands of Mexicans turned out on Sunday at a rally in Mexico City in which Mr Lopez Obrador declared he would go ahead and set up what he called a "national democratic convention" on 16 September - Mexico's Independence Day.

He has already hinted at establishing a parallel government.

For his part, Mr Calderon has already spoken of the need to bring Mexicans together.

And on Tuesday, his campaign manager Josefina Vazquez Mota said the president-elect was ready for dialogue.

Mr Calderon, she said, "will listen to the voices of all those who exercised their right to vote for a different option".

But Mr Lopez Obrador's supporters have rejected any ideas of dialogue.

"The only possibility for a dialogue with the right's candidate would be for (Mr Calderon) to refuse the gift of the presidency which he did not earn at the ballot box," said Gerardo Fernandez Norona, spokesman for Mr Lopez Obrador's Party of the Democratic Revolution (PRD).

Richard Hammond 'critical' after jet car crash

TOP Gear presenter Richard Hammond was tonight in a critical condition after an accident involving a jet powered car at Elvington Airfield near York.

The 36-year-old, who often drives high-performance cars as part of presenting the show, was rushed to hospital in Leeds following the incident at 5.34pm.

He was treated at the scene by the crew of the Yorkshire Air Ambulance who then airlifted him to Leeds General Infirmary, which is a specialist neurological centre.

A hospital spokesman said last night that Hammond, who was brought up in North Yorkshire, was in a ''critical'' condition.
continued...

A North Yorkshire Police spokesman said that the presenter was filming an episode of Top Gear at the airfield at the time.

He added: ''Relatives have been informed and are en route to the hospital itself.'' ''The male occupant has received serious injuries and has been airlifted to hospital at Leeds.'' He also presents Brainiac: Science Abuse on Sky, the BBC 1 show Should I Worry About...? and Time Commanders on BBC 2.

In July 2005, Hammond won the accolade of being voted number one in heat magazine poll of the top "weird celebrity crushes." Also in 2005, he was voted one of the top British TV talents.

He lives near Cheltenham with his wife Amanda and two young children.

God i hope he's ok. :(

Top Gear's Richard Hammond was:

"...reportedly driving a jet-powered Vampire car when it overturned. Mr Hammond was said to have been reaching speeds of up to 280mph as the accident happened."

The Vampire, sponsored by the Swedish company Thule, weighs 2,200 lbs, is 30 feet long and drinks 7-10 gallons of fuel per mile (depending on the speed). The jet-car accelerates from 0 to 272 mph in six seconds and is powered by a Rolls Royce Orpheus jet engine and is theoretically capable of 370mph. The Vampire holds the "Outright British Land Speed Record" with a blistering fast 300.3mph. Sky News continues with some first hand accounts of the accident after the jump.

"Firefighter Dave Ogden, who witnessed the crash, told Sky News that the 36-year-old presenter was able to speak as he was taken out of the wreckage of the car.

Last guy that drove that fast I've heard of was inducted as a candidate to a Darwin Award, because he put a solid-fuel jet on his car, took it to the desert and fired it. It is estimated that he reached 600km/h. His car went off the highway and flew a couple of hundreds of meters before crashing into a mountain. The car brakes have completely melted. The first police officer who arrived at the scene couldn't understand how a car could have flown and hit the wall where it did. I guess the case will be immortalized in the up comming movie Darwin Awards...

The latest on Richard Hammond, is that he has suffered a "significant brain injury" but Doctors are "reasonably optomistic" that he will make a full recovery. Time will tell eh, I sincerely hope he does.

Hope he comes home all right for his wife and kids.

A little do-wop from 1962:
http://znakomi.com/zappaforum/2006/SpiritOfAmerica.mp3

That car had an interesting history:
http://www.bluebird-electric.net/craig_breedlove.htm

"The new record came at a high price. While surpassing Arfons' newest speed record, Craig lost both drag parachutes and wheel brakes. The Spirit of America sliced through a row of telephone poles at 400 mph and "flew" at 200 mph into an 18-foot-deep salt brine pond. He had to swim out to save his life, but was miraculously unscratched."

I remember that when I was a kid. If I remember right, he overshot by something like 6 miles before the water stopped him, (the course is a dry lake bed that goes on flat for miles and miles of nothing).

The Brit's now hold the record of the first supersonic drive :)

Hamster is out of intensive care! Fantastic news. Let's hope he makes a full recovery. I also heard this morning that after the accident, before being loaded into the air ambulance, he wanted to do a piece to camera, so that's encouraging.

:D :D :D

Anyone interested in bidding for Steve Vai's Ibanez Jem VAI2K DNA guitar? He's auctioning it to raise funds for a friend with an Auto-Immune disorder, to help the family financially.
Steve says...
"I received two DNA guitars for my personal collection. One was stolen from my studio, and I used the other in some recordings for a while and then let it live at Guitar Center Hollywood for their display for years. In an attempt to raise money for a sick friend who has made tremendous contributions to the music industry and actually gave me my start by releasing Flex-Able, Passion and Warfare, Sex & Religion and Alien Love Secrets, the guitar is being auctioned off and 100% of the income will go to his support. If one of these guitars pop up in a hundred years from now and they scrape the DNA to make a Steve Vai clone, perhaps that guy can get his music on the radio."

I hate auctions. Rich people get all the good stuff. I'd rather they'd done it as a lottery - if they sold tickets for £5 they'd probably get more money for the cause. Then EVERY Steve Vai fan could buy a ticket and have an equal chance. I wouldn't mind that guitar for its link with Steve but I don't like the paint job - he has much better looking guitars.

Yep, too true floss. That would have been fairer really wouldn't it and you're right, they coulda made a lot more money!
I must be honest, I did think it was a pretty ugly looking guitar! 8)
