Irony!! Secretly adding something to take away food that actually makes it healthier. Believe me, knowingly making take away more healthy would cause more of a furor than the fact of eating horse meat. "What?! If I wanted to eat healthy food, do you think I'd be eating this shit?!"
Gotta listen to The Authorities or you're gonna bite the big one sooner than you think! Horse meat or horse shit, there are always new studies to prop up the shit! (And those cost MONEY! Why do you think they all want to do them?)

Fuck that! We can't even get GMOs labeled as such or anything about the nasty shit that just very well might happen with your next vaccination! The FDA is a scam and the motherfuckers are owned by the biotech/farmaco-industry.

BTW!> Why did "farm-ecology" when spelled right show up as "*SPAM*"?

I agree Cal.
Doing a daily syndicated comic long enough and you run the risk of getting stale. I think that's also why Bill Waterson decided to end Calvin & Hobbes while he was still at the top of his creative game. I recall some diehard fans being up in arms when he announced his retirement. Proof of a dedicated following.

Hack that broadcast zombie-attack warning due to easy passwords

By Jim Finkle

Poor password security allowed hackers to broadcast a bogus warning on TV networks that the United States was under attack by zombies, broadcasters said, and one expert in the technology said the emergency channel they broke into remained vulnerable.

Here's to the State of Mississippi
By Phil Ochs

Here's to the state of Mississippi,
For Underheath her borders, the devil draws no lines,
If you drag her muddy river, nameless bodies you will find.
whoa the fat trees of the forest have hid a thousand crimes,
the calender is lyin' when it reads the present time.
Whoa here's to the land you've torn out the heart of,
Mississippi find yourself another country to be part of!

And here's to the people of Mississippi
Who say the folks up north, they just don't understand
And they tremble in their shadows at the thunder of the Klan
The sweating of their souls can't wash the blood from off their hands
They smile and shrug their shoulders at the murder of a man
Oh, here's to the land you've torn out the heart of
Mississippi find yourself another country to be part of

And here's to the schools of Mississippi
Where they're teaching all the children that they don't have to care
All the rudiments of hatred are present everywhere
And every single classroom is a factory of despair
There's nobody learning such a foreign word as fair
Oh, here's to the land you've torn out the heart of
Mississippi find yourself another country to be part of

And here's to the cops of Mississippi
They're chewing their tobacco as they lock the prison door
Their bellies bounce inside them when they knock you to the floor
No they don't like taking prisoners in their private little war
Behind their broken badges there are murderers and more
Oh, here's to the land you've torn out the heart of
Mississippi find yourself another country to be part of

And, here's to the judges of Mississippi
Who wear the robe of honor as they crawl into the court
They're guarding all the bastions of their phony legal fort
Oh, justice is a stranger when the prisoners report
When the black man stands accused the trial is always short
Oh, here's to the land you've torn out the heart of
Mississippi find yourself another country to be part of

And here's to the government of Mississippi
In the swamp of their bureaucracy they're always bogging down
And criminals are posing as the mayors of the towns
And they hope that no one sees the sights and no one hears the sounds
And the speeches of the governor are the ravings of a clown
Oh, here's to the land you've torn out the heart of
Mississippi find yourself another country to be part of

And here's to the laws of Mississippi
Congressmen will gather in a circus of delay
While the Constitution is drowning in an ocean of decay
Unwed mothers should be sterilized, I've even heard them say
Yes, corruption can be classic in the Mississippi way
Oh, here's to the land you've torn out the heart of
Mississippi find yourself another country to be part of

And here's to the churches of Mississippi
Where the cross, once made of silver, now is caked with rust
And the Sunday morning sermons pander to their lust
The fallen face of Jesus is choking in the dust
Heaven only knows in which God they can trust
Oh, here's to the land you've torn out the heart of
Mississippi find yourself another country to be part of

So elitist. Things are only "funny or clever" if people with brains say them. Do you have some sort of tracking device that you use that informs you whether each thing you read or hear is spoken by someone with a brain before you allow yourself to laugh at it? All the cadavers who have had their brains removed for medical science will be so disappointed to know you do not find them witty.

Thanks for the Phil Ochs. Brilliant.
A song for those who still want to live in the 19th Century.

And the great part was that plook felt his being compared to a special needs kid was an insult to the kid!

In the last 10 years since I've joined, this forum has had his share of morons who, I thought, would refrain from posting, in regard of Frank Zappa's philosophy at large. It seems it doesn't stop them. I've read some comments that are miles away from Frank's thinking by peoples who claim that they are themselves a genuine Zappa's legacy product, if such a thing exists.

Liberty being as it is, we let them have their ways. It doesn't fool the rest, but sure, it may tickles a bit. Not that thinking differently is something bad in itself. But what's the use if I participate in a forum who's not representative in big parts of what I think is valuable and important.

We can mock them for time to time, they'll never get it. And it may be amusing. And then, let's ignore them. These poor souls crave for our attention. They'll drown in their self-illusion that they are really something.

yea, & similar earlier posts by many others were selectively ignored in a lame intimidation attempt by a bunch of über-pussies to gang up on disco boy, who continues to serve 'em back their own chickenshit on a silver fucking platter

I went away and wised up with time. Morons still exist anyway. I see some, and I must be the moron of someone else. Fair enough. But I'm still stunned to read things that are miles apart from what I'd expect from a group of Zappa's fans. Imagine me being a regular member of a NRA forum ! (I'd be thrown out in no time and with good reasons).
Are we due for a "I love Justin Bieber" thread ? I hope not.

By the way, it is not "renè", but "rené" !

Being associated with René Lévesque is not a bad thing.
Possibly the only honest guy we had in 40 years.
