Just because we haven't figured it out yet doesn't mean there isn't a better way and that we should stop striving to find one.

Here's a list from that Wiki place :| that shows basic economic systems throughout history .

The basic and general economic systems are:

Market economy ("hands off" systems, such as Laissez-faire capitalism)
Mixed economy (a hybrid that blends some aspects of both market and planned economies)
Planned economy ("hands on" systems, such as state socialism or state capitalism)
Traditional economy (a generic term for older economic systems)
Command (Centrally Planned) Economic Systems: (a generic term for older economic systems)
Participatory economics (a system where the production and distribution of goods is guided by public participation)
Gift economy (where an exchange is made without any explicit agreement for immediate or future rewards)
Barter economy (where goods and services are directly exchanged for other goods or services)
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Economic_system

Given mankind's history , since the first clam was sold , are you really hoping for someone to come up with a better and fairer system other than these that have already been tried ?? :?

Oh wait , you're the guy that thinks butchers should make as much money as brain surgeons.

In the wake of recent reports that her fiancé Liam Hemsworth got a little too close to “Mad Men” actress January Jones at a pre-Oscar party, Miley Cyrus is assuring fans that her nuptials are still on.

The only way for men to live is primitively. Technology leads to death. We can crow about all the good it does for humanity and for the survival of the species, but essentially technology grows until it begins to destroy the environment. For all the supposed benefit of technology, it has only doomed the species rather than secure the survival of it. Whether it be the nukes, environmental pollution, or general overpopulation, technology will bite us in the ass, and we will suffer great decimations.

Which is preferable, I think, to technological development that ends in the species finding and traveling to another planet whereupon to destroy.

The primitive people have a more sustainable existence, for mankind and for the rest of life on the planet. It's a shame, really, what human beings have done to the Earth.

Simple agrarian sustenence methods are the only way to go. Short, relatively boring lives is what humans were meant for...it should be rare that someone outlives their teeth. Treading lightly on the planet is the only way to ensure the survival of the species.

Any other system rather than the natural animal mammal omnivore that we really are is just an artificial mechanism for survival.

It's plastic, man.

SON. OF. ONE. MORE. TIME. FOR. THE. WORLD.:

Capitalism DOES work. History PROVES this. It's just that you two more than obviously don't even understand the difference between Mixed Economies (which is what many countries have for an economic system, including Scandinavia, Canada, the US, etc.) & Capitalism. Nor do you understand that Capitalism isn't Imperialism, Corporatism or the Military Industrial Complex. So you two can't even BEGIN to form an opinion about it, let alone tell us whether or not you think it works.

(CNN) -- Legendary basketball player Michael Jordan applied for a marriage license Thursday in West Palm Beach, Florida. Jordan, who just turned 50, is set to marry Yvette Prieto.
The marriage to the Cuban-American model would be the second for Jordan, now the majority owner of the NBA's Charlotte Bobcats. Jordan played in the NBA for many years, most with the Chicago Bulls for 13 seasons beginning in 1984-85. He led the Bulls to six NBA championships.
His scoring feats have led many to regard him as the greatest player ever and led the Bulls to six NBA championships. He averaged 30.1 points per game, the highest in NBA history. He led the league in scoring a record 10 times. He ranks third on the NBA all-time scoring list with 32,292 points,
The All-Star played at the University of North Carolina before he went into the NBA. He was inducted in the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame.

"I'm just going to level with you—the earth's carrying capacity will no longer be able to keep up with population growth, and civilization will end unless large swaths of human beings are killed, so the question is: How do we want to do this?" Cambridge University ecologist Dr. Edwin Peters said. "Do we want to give everyone a number and implement a death lottery system? Incinerate the nation's children? Kill off an entire race of people? Give everyone a shotgun and let them sort it out themselves?"

The disturbing question is which third? Particualrly when one considers that in Germany the government is desperately trying to encourage people to have more children as otherwise there won't be enough people to pay for the pensions of an increasingly ageing population. The only other option would appear to be euthanasia of the elderly - which doesn't exactly have a fantastic reputation in Germany.

It wouldn't be bad consedering our limited resources.
And women giving births these days in their thirties, it makes sence here in modern countries.
What about third world countries ? Using condoms would help but what did the Pope said ? :P
