Maybe this should go under the Wish List but the whole reason I sought out this forum was to suggest (ask? beg?) that Joe's Garage be produced as a Broadway musical. I think it would resonate deeply with the times in which we live. It's edginess would satisfy a new kind of musical consumer and, not to mention, it's an American masterpiece worthy of preservation and promotion.

Yeah, I'd much rather have Thing Fish on stage and Joe's Garage on film. Thing-Fish is perfect for the stage (and really needs it to be completley understood- on record, it's a formless mess) and Joe's Garage can work on stage but needs some tweaking.
