Interesting, under the "this just in" section, it seems that Gail endorses the use of marijuana for medical purposes. I recall when Frank was at the end of his days, an interviewer carefully phrased the question to Frank. Was he, um, seeking out some form of self-medication? To which he said NO, and changed the subject to tiger balm. Anyway, I'm all for medical marijuana use. It will never really take off tho' as just about anyone in America can grow it on their windowsill. No profits for the farmahsuetical industry. Pop an anti-depressant every single day or smoke a little reefer every weekend? Hmmm....

Hi Dove! A Quicktime upgrade should do the trick for you.

I upgraded to Quicktime 7.1.5 and no dice. All I get is a ghosted out qt logo and nothing more. :(

I see on the revamped site, I can sign up for the Zappa Mailing list.
Which I did, and saw the notice that I'd recieve a confirmation e-mail.
So far, I've recieved 7 of 'em.
I clicked on 2 of them, each time it took me to the page that tells me I'll be recieving a confirmation e-mail.
Somehow, I get the feeling something isn't quite right....

Thanks for letting me know. We'll look into it.

Thought I'd mention that I retried clicking the link on my confirmation notice, after your "it's fixed" post, and it is, indeed, fixed. This time it went straight to the "thanks for joining page". Thanks for having me!

great work, Mikey et al!

Love that Roxy excerpt in the video section! Really fun and inspiring to see it. Hopefully the full DVD will see the light of day one day, but until that, this bit of 30 minutes is sizzling too!

mikey, when i went to upgrade my quicktime, i was informed i had to have a certain os x in order to get it installed. meh. i'm on safari, so it's not my browser. also, i noticed when i tried to order buffalo from barfko-swill, when it came time to note what type of shipping i wanted, i pressed "continue", and sat there waiting for it to process. is it because of my mac? i've never had this problem before.is it the site? it was taking forever, so i had to empty my shopping cart. maybe i should try mozilla, as well. hmmmm....

Mikey, I noticed something. When one clicks on the link on the what's new page for the tracklist of AAAFNRAA, it just resets the (what's new) page. It doesn't go anywhere . . . I haven't tried the other links . ..
I use foxzilla on an WinXP pc,
:)

ok, that's probably why it tells you that you need to update your os when you try to install the latest quicktime.

but, try firefox. it might just work. it's better and faster than safari, anyway. and so easy to install. go to: mozilla.com

been all over the new site now, and, yeah, it's great. really nice look to it, with the pictures of fz to the left. nicely done montages.

I really like the articles and interviews section. more of that, please. soonly.

and the discography-section is really nice now. it really needed to be updated.

haven't had time to listen to the rockunited-audio yet, but I will.

the roxy video is, of course, awesome.

one thing, though; would have liked to see an update of the frequently asked questions...

Hey Mikey - -

Anything you can do from your end to allow the videos in the STUFF TO GET section to play for everyone? I have the latest version of Quicktime but it won't play. Some say Firefox will do the trick, but short of that, is there anything you or we can do? That big ol' question mark is a bear!

Thanks for the improved site. Nice job!
