Dear Deepinder:

Thank you for your message. The Frank Zappa bust has yet to be shipped from Vilnius, and the Baltimore Public Art Commission has narrowed it down to two possible sites for the statue. The Commission next meets on December 17, 2008, and they will vote on a location at that time. In the meantime, feel free to contact the Baltimore Office of Promotion and the Arts at the contact information below.

Thank you for taking the time to write and for your interest in Baltimore City.

Sincerely,

Sheila Dixon

Mayor

City of Baltimore

Yeah, like the Mayor of Baltimore actually had the time to write you a letter.

Sarah Palin's the Governor of Alaska, and she hasn't even had time to read The Constitution...

:P

Yes, it took a couple of weeks for a reply but I got one. I was thinking practically in that this may well be a meeting in which the public can attend, so any idea's from hardcore Zappa freaks out there should ask to attend or get in touch with the commitee. I would love to attend, as I went to Lithuania in 1995 for the unveiling, but I live in the UK. I was hoping that this would have been sorted for Franks birthday on the 21st, but the commitee may not have known that - so input from independent FZ freaks should be given.

MentalTF, there is no evidence whatever that Sarah Palin can read anything at all let alone the The Constitution.
