That may be true but I wish everyone could meet this fine young man and speak with him like I got the chance too. He is very thoughtful and measured in what he does and says about it, he seemed extremely honest and sincere, and I believe this all comes out in his performances. I know some believe he is aloof and distant, but I believe they are mistaking his other good qualities through misperception. I just know I have not enjoyed going to see a live show this much in a long time!

I agree. I had a chance to talk with him after one of the shows I saw this year. He was the coolest guy and really seemed to be excited by the gearhead conversation we were having. He went into exact details about his equipment. I really appreciated the honesty since alot of guitar players arent as open with the tools they use. Plus the guy can play like a motherfucker.

Yea he really got into the technical stuff since it was before ZPZ and he was working on putting his dad’s films and 4 track recordings into a digitized format for DVD release and they were apparently running into trouble with it. I work in a high tech industry but he was getting over my head, fortunately I could understand enough to follow.

Not sure how anyone could view the guy as aloof or distant. He hung out after last night's show in Columbus signing autographs and talking to folks. First time I've EVER seen that at that venue.

That's VERY cool. I've seen a number of shows there and this is the first time I've seen it.
