Burnt weeny sandwich.
I read somewhere that he liked his food very spicy, so much so that his face would break out in sweat (hence the peppersteak he mentioned in the Real Frank Zappa Book in the story about his dinner with Pierre Boulez).

And he definitely, positively, had to get some mexican food at some time. (As seen in some 70s doc.)

I don't know how authentic L.A. mexican food is/was; but judging by the territorial vicinity, I'm hoping some of it is alright.

I believe his favorite vegetable was smoked tobacco.

I have the greatest theory ever: people who are sweet and kind (like me) usually prefer salty or spicy things, and people who are "out-there", angry and looking for trouble, like to eat candy and strawberries.

I have nothing against honey, but after I ate a couple of french toasts soaked in that stuff, I had to purchase two bags of penauts.
