There's nothing in the FAQ about using Search. Anyone figured it out yet? I'm not having much success.

It's a pretty standard search engine for forums, seems to work good and fast here. Can you give a more specific example of the kind of problems you're experiencing?

The only thing that apparently isn't possible anymore is to search for keywords in topic titles only. At least, I haven't figured out how to do that yet. The other problem is that quite a few topic threads from the old board (anything started by Jimmie D, Arkay etc.) simply don't exist anymore, so if you're looking for something specific, I guess it maybe just isn't there anymore

It's precisely the problem I've got, I search for precise threads like "Duck,duck,goose" for example and find nothing.

I think the problems I've been having are due to using tricks that worked with the previous software search that don't work now. If I search for a common word now it doesn't find any, could it be it's because it finds too many? Anyway, I'm starting to have some success with it, so I'll come back here when I've got a specific question.

it works better if you choose to display the results by posts rather than topics.

The new search function sucks because it's nearly impossible to find a topic using key words.
