my stance has not changed and that is I do not disclose anything I have or have not been told on works in progress.
Let me put it in simple terms. The ZFT have many works in progress.
I hope I can say the following without my comments by themselves ruffling the feathers of this community.
Hey they probably will anyway be it if I reply or do not reply but 'll try my best to be a little bit responsive while maintaining
respect for the ZFT who have a right to do business as they see fit.

The specific project(s) I have discussed with anyone from the ZFT I continue to maintain 100% confidentiality.
Now Halloween is a time when we all traditionally have expected some expected and unexpected.
I don't want to get into too deep into the projected date I may or may not have been told on any given release
because then that just may open up another bag of rotten apples for the negative ones of this community
want to sling things at me and or the ZFT whenever their fanatical discontent could appear on any given day of the calendar.

Halloween has always been a time of the expected and unexpected. This has nothing to do with anything I have discussed
with the ZFT so all those day countdowns that led up to Halloween I would have posted regardless of any possible knowledge
of a works in progress. One would not expect that would change for Halloween 10,11,12,13,14 or whatever regardless if
Zappaween 2009's lack of an official product or announcement this past Halloween.

What I see that is more alarming is that Gail Zappa published an article where the comprehension level
of the Zappa community seems smaller than a puddle of piddle that gathers in the realms of digital media piracy
of the latest millennium facilitating proponents of some Free Art Society. Now that is a pretty large puddle.

Folks my idea of a good time is not lying back and watching piracy devalue the worth of an artists back catalog
or new product. It is my opinion that no matter what the artist sets the price point at that many people will
just go ahead and become a pirate or continue being prates if they have the 21st Century pirate DNA in them.
Now maybe some folks around here think that $25 a Download was their idea of financial rape but who is kidding who when
an artist of the likes of Trent Reznor suggests paying $5 for a download offering and at some point in the measurement
he only gets 20,000 of the 160,000 or so people who downloaded the project to pay the $5.
Anyhow this is not the case with what this topic is about.
The downloads are Free, Included in the ticket price.

As I await for my next Frank Zappa artisan product that will well be worth every penny of it's price point
if and when we are lucky enough t get it my philosophy is as follows
Official Zappa is an Artisan Product.
With PIRACY so predominant in the Music Industry The Last Decade, it is well to remember the words of Trendmonger.
If Zappa is your idea of the worlds finest optional entertainment, not only do I suggest you buy it honestly and lie back and enjoy it
but report each and every incident of piracy to enforcement authorities wherever possible. If people do not support the releases
one such possibility I had long pondered is a hold-back period until the feasibility for the fans to support the next release through traditional
methods is met with a higher feasibility quotient.

Enjoy your downloads when they are ready folks.
I for one am pulling for each and every Zappa fan to be supportive 100% on each and every official project.
Even if a project may not be your cup of tea where you don't run and get for example a Corsaga item as fast as say
a live concert. If I may suggest getting away from the extreme negativity.
That would benefit the project/object moving forward
for if and when those vault doors ever close we can only blame ourselves.

So while you wait that's one example of a weather forecast

This is what I can tell you Mr 19 Posts. Welcome to the forum.
I am not going to sit here and take some stature of an I Told You So.
If and when some download or physical media project gets released
my cocnern is for myself and the community to positively embrace it.

You can remain positive or you can remain in some negative posture
that does nothing for moving the project/object forward. I know very well
what I have discussed with the ZFT and so do they. As I have stated 100% confidentiality.

Also very funny to hear about the new and exciting projects in the works....How about the new and exciting project I was promised over a year ago !

To those who say people complaining about the download are being pissy and crybabies....go fuck yourselves.

Hey if you purchased something off of amazon or ebay-you'd get the product within an acceptable time frame or be compensated. In the case of ebay you may have got scammed...which is the case of the download. They wouldn't be successful businesses if there policy was' you'll get it when you get it you fucking crybaby.'

Here there is no recourse. It's not that I can't live w/out the download but Christ show your customers a little respect.

There's nothing wrong with knowing nothing about a particular topic.
