I'm 16, only person that listens to Zappa in my school.  I had an American History teacher named Mr. Rowland who was a huge fan, and he was surprised when I came into class with  Wowie Zowie playing in my headphones, he looked up and instantly recognized the xylophone lick.  He almost passed out, and started to tell me stories and all this stuff about Zappa.  Coolest guy ever!  We used to listen to whatever Zappa stuff he or I would bring in, he played it on the computer, regardless of the black people and the preps' complaining.  We were both like "ah, shut the fuck up, we hear you blare your rap all the time, least you could do is have some real shit go through your ears."  He was that damn cool.  Lucky to have him.

I'm beginning to introduce a lot of people to Frank though, them and I are the only ones that know him besides a few teachers that I've asked, and the usual reply is they start singing Montana. ::)
