Get in on this right now. 2nd row center tickets are still coming up.
While the fidelity should be very good throughout the majority of the venue a word of caution about being
too close with these modern MIX situations wher a guitarst is using the amazing Fractal Audio without any amps.
Maybe there will be some small PA speakers on the stage that help deliver clear sound to the first few rows in the center
as this is one solution that helps out in these situations.
I know some people really love being up close but I just want to alert
the community that being back a little and center is where the fidelity is.
There is nothing wrong with getting in early on ticketing but up front in the first few rows is not always
optimal. If there is a way to call in and choose specific seating you could very well be better off
if fidelity is your goal. But then again there is a good selection of many seating groups
with a variety of price ranges that you can choose seating from.
As some may be aware at this point Dweezil has been playing with a Fractal Audio Setup
that does not include any Guitar Amplifiers. While his guitar rigs do change from time to time
the 3 shows I saw with him in 2009 using the Fractal Audio Systems Axe-Fx were the finest sounding shows yet.
DZs guitar sounds as good as any guitar I have ever heard live. If you want to hear DZs guitar as it was designed
some common sense needs to be applied if one wants to hear the live MIX in fidelity.
I believe the fractal can boost at specific frequency intervals on 3 separate guitar channel patches
at one time. For some it would be a shame to let DZs guitar to be heard all muddled.
While the other musicians have amps on stage DZs may only be coming from PA
so it all goes over your head if one is not in a position to hear a PA MIX with any clarity.
The guitar may very well be muddled to a certain extent that is deserved of mention to those that care
It may have a loud ambient wall of sound tonality that you can still hear but what you hear is from the guitar in the PA MIX
bouncing off the walls and you will loose out on so many frequencies being heard..
So for this show I once again chose to be center lodge.
I happen to really like Lodge theater seating that typically is 15 to 20 rows
from the stage that have a porch view.
I'll take the fidelity and overall relaxed seating environment over front row center
with compromised fidelity.
Now the orchestra has center orchestra seats in several price ranges
and even if one is center in the lower price range that may start
just a little over the 15th row they can expect to have amazing sound in those seats.
