I must say those pictures are pretty awful.
I've seen similar, not with cats, but when I used to manage a pet shop someone who was a reptile breeder brought in some large cages. We used to take in used items for store credit etc. I was the person who cleaned everything and got it ready for resale. The guy brought them in with the decomposed snakes still inside, I didn't notice anything until I started cleaning them. I have seen some real cruelty in the pet business. I've seen fish and other animals starved to get customers to pay for little packets of food to feed them, I've seen tanks left with dead animals in them for days while the others crawled around them.
I made sure that never happened at the place I managed, and quite honestly it makes me sick when I go into a place where it's all about money and nothing to do with the animals.
http://thephoenix.com/Boston/News/81321 ... o-strange/I post this earlier article for the purpose of a fuller picture of the story.
How long was the tour she was doing when this all happened? Either way I understand the courts decision that she was ultimately responsible, and I agree, she took them in it's her duty to be
sure they are cared for. I just suspect it was genuinely a tragedy for her as well as for the animals.
Trendmonger was defensive of her, Okay, she clearly has a long history of charitable work on behalf of animals. And this seems out of character. I also don't find the word torture to be applicable, that would indicate a deliberate violence towards the animals. This doesn't mean I'm excusing her, it just means I think she might be hurting from this too.
Now back to the other thread where I'll continue to be in opposition to most of the members of the forum as a supporter of the ZFT, and someone who actually likes the majority of things Trendmonger has to say. What can I say, I'm another old time freaky mother fucker from NY. We's be speakin' da same venaculah.
