It's far more a matter of any given fan looking in the mirror and saying to themselves they want to be positive.
Being positive about the project/object moving forward no matter how grim God's Grey Earth presents itself...
Yes...I am positive the spaceship will be in the
next comet....

Maybe for someone like you it will take arrival of the next comet for an opportunity to ride
the positive. The energy efforts of the ZFT is something any Zappa fan should accept freely as positive
in moving the project/object forward. This war like fanatical mechanism is of extreme disservice to what Frank Zappa
did during his life and what the ZFT are doing to protect that and keep his music alive.
If fans are so objective to the Official Stance their is no alternative.
Yes they can spend their time and money elsewhere. They can hop on a bandwagon of piracy
and or the ever growing beer garden bands of mediocrity.
Certainly the non-official efforts of some of these bands and their message boards are so quite you can hear a mouse fart.
In the Ball Park Cover Bands with perpetuated quantities of Alumni Ejectamenta
is not my idea of a good time when considering the long term preservation of Frank Zappa.
There is no long lasting redeeming art representation. Extreme Compromise would be gracios.
Some of it is quite entertaining in a nostalgic
"when you say Bud" sense
but some are merely of extremely compromised substance factors.
How many "
the last Clydesdale I loaned 40 bucks to smoked a lid crack laced hay" stories do I need to hear before that
brotherhood is more myth than legend. Anyhow even if their non-official boards roared like a lion often the meat tastes spoiled
so I do not put much if any energy there and for the most part I no longer even think about it or talk about it.
I don't drink Bud and I don't load money to a Clydesdale with a hay problem.
