Tour dates are still rolling in.
There is no need to develop or instill a prejudice to anyone thinking "No Europe".
Please be patient. I have already heard of a Europe Festival Date , I believe in July, but as of yet have not seen official confirmation.
More tour dates are being confirmed so there is no need to think currently published dates are finalized dates for 2010.

Keep checking in at the Dweezil Zappa World Tour Dates Page for updates.

DZ
"Hello Everyone,

Just a quick note to let you know that I will be adding new tour dates to dweezilzappaworld.com shortly.
Many shows are being confirmed. We will be visiting a lot of new locations this year.
Including places like Mexico City, Israel, and the next obvious location - Arkansas!

Be on the lookout for your hometown.
Hopefully we'll have an additional keyboardist in the band by then.
We've invited a few folks to audition in April. we'll see how that goes!

Lot's of songs to consider learning and re-learning.

The dates will be up very soon.

Regards, DZ"

Go back into Hibernation or something !!!!!

While your link does go directly to Dweezil' Blog comments quite efficiently
your comment fails to make simple note that the current dates are not finalized.
Yes if someone gave the due diligence to reading DZs blog they should understand that but a simple editorial note
would help for those that fail to give such. Some perception here as by Flea is off base.
Regardless it is a nice community service you took by giving that link.
Excuse me for not taking good notice of your effort in my post.

Why you feel it necessary to get all obstinate with negativity towards my action here is ridiculous.
This place for far too long is filled with enough of negative behavior. It's obvious some people are just that
way regardless of my participation here. It's funny how none of that behavior exists at Dweezil's Website
and I am quite active there. People can manufacture this or anything here into their negativity. It's a shame
that some want to place their troubles on me as if I am there scapegoat of their troubles or the troubled behavior of this forum.

In all sincerity thanks for the tip "Tripmyster" but I am not and have not been in hibernation.
I just try and come here and set things straight in a factual manner on some limited issues.
Why I do this is because some at times here seem obviously ignorant of facts.
By doing so they are setting a precedence that is of disservice. Regarding my factual reporting,
those that want to read it or ignore it fine but my facts are more on target than the average bear with a bowl full
of spoiled honey that smells like shit. Don't get me wrong there are lots of nice people here and some know there stuff but now and then
the dog shit gets pretty fowl and there is no level of ignorance or humor that can separate that from the truth.

But just in case I loose my focus and poot forth with diction of opinion I realize this is not the kind of community
I want to be associated with in sharing too may detailed opinions. Please let's separate opinions from facts.
I've seen some of the editorial opinions around here from some in this community and when some poot forth
be it here or in their own website with a " Bet it’ll be shit…!" well I have no such sense of humor in communicating with or defending against such negativity.

But you seem to have energy. You want to call someone out around here on their internet behavior do a little due diligence and research on the editorial reporting of " Bet it’ll be shit…!"
and see what you come up with. Total members 15489 . Yes the ignore function is cool for however anyone of those 15489 wants to use that feature
but who the fuck has the balls to call out folks on the extreme school yard behavior towards official Zappa.
If anyone enjoys my absence fine but a whole bunch of crap still exists here and elsewhere regarding Official Zappa.
I'm just a little sick and tired of that school yard game and for the most part have learned to ignore the bull shit.
It would be nice if someone with an intellectual response beyond middle fingers and exploding
heads had the balls to step up to the plate. I don't pay mind to if 1,10,100 or 15489 have me on ignore.

One of the many edits and since you mention IGNORE
Truthfully most of the 15489 ignore the entire forum more than any given individual.
I suspect that is for the simple reason that this is not a nice place.
Maybe you can be a savior and resurrect the majority of the 15489 who decided to sign up
and have since long left an interest in participating in a place that is filled with so much negativity
and school yard antics. This place has no clue as to how to police itself.
I have had enough of positive response to understand my reporting has been appreciated.
Get a pair of balls and find some people who really deserves your flames and arrows.

It seems not everyone is thrilled about the Tour since the Downloads are still not Available.

Here's a little something I pulled off Dweezil's site about the up coming Tour.

Kaiser Roll wrote on Mar 15, 2010 at 08:14 AM
Dweez, thats great that another tour is starting but the YCFOSA downloads should be finished before you start anything else.

silentmark wrote on Mar 15, 2010 at 12:48 PM
yes finish the YCFOSA downloads first ...

Vancouver June 15th - presales March 24th and 25th, general public Friday March 26th. Just noticed this on Ticketmaster.

http://www.ticketmaster.ca/Dweezil-Zapp ... ist/736516

For the Live Nation pre-sale you just have to sign up at Live Nation (for free) then they'll send you a password just before the pre-sale starts.

For the Rock 101 pre-sale (25th) you probably have to sign-up online at Rock 101's website, and they'd also send you a password.

For the Vancouver show on June 15, the Live Nation presale password is "guitar" and the Georgia Straight presale password is "Frank". I just scored a nearly dead centre seat in row 1...

11,000 seat arena...not sure they'll fill that. Maybe they aren't doing many other shows in the UK.

I did alright. But to be perfectly honest with you, row 1 is technically the 5th row. Rows A-D are a part of the VIP package (including soundcheck and an exclusive poster) and are in front of row 1. I could've scored a VIP package seat but then I wouldn't be able to get my friend in for below cost from scalpers the night of, since he'd like a seat in the orchestra section but doesn't want to pay the $93.50 ($75 before anal raping taxes/service charges and CC fees, thanks to the recent Live Nation / ticketmaster merger  ) to get it...

Definitely not. Unless they play in the "D End" configuration, which is basically 1/4 of the overall capacity of the Echo Arena. There's also a 1,350 capacity auditorium in the BT Convention Center on the same grounds...

This manichispanic individual seems to be severely mistaken.
I can only suspect manichispanic has not been to too many DZPZ shows in the last two years.
The diversity that DZPZ has delivered while sans one keyboard player is quite remarkable.
But still they are Auditioning for a Keyboardist and some of the preliminary vids are impressively in the ball park..
http://www.dweezilzappaworld.com/articl ... yboardists

http://www.dweezilzappaworld.com/videos/216

Ben Thomas is singing with Authority . I am hearing from so many people how much he sounds like
Frank and his all around soulfulness is bringing so much to the show where Ray White's Timbre
was not as good a match for "Zomby Woof" and "Montana" .
Just listen to the samples from Return Of The Son Of...
for these are two fine examples of what Ben Thomas can bring.

http://www.dweezilzappaworld.com/songs/ ... the-son-of

On top of the arrangements since Aaron Arntz depatrure where they are sans 1 keyboard player
there is still a definitive sense of diversity in arrangements and DZs Air Sculptures
are in that FZ frame model as much as I have ever heard anyone perform like FZ
while still maintaining a unique sense of diversity over the long haul.

The Fractal Experiments sound clips are from early 2009
and DZs solos have additionally taken on a variety
of FZ like landscapes in the last year.

2)Wonderful Wino (Playground Psychotics arrangement)
3)RDNZL
4)You Didn't Try to Call Me (1976 arrangement)
5)Road Ladies
