Great we have had more and more people showing up each time, it would be great to get more fans from around the country, we will show you a good time, that I can guarantee. 8)

Spoke with David from Sac this morning and he will show up here at "zappa.com" sometime this weekend...!
For those of us going to the soundcheck at 4.30 I think it would make sense to meet up at the Pizza place afterwords around 5.30 or so.....
and meet up with the others....the others...just like yoooooou... what you all say?

Yes, Dave is here, in my head.

I will be going ( weather permitting of course ) to the Reno show, with VIP in hand. I hope to take some photos of the show ( or of the soundcheck ). I used to live in Reno and there are some great meeting places throughout. One place is called Nu Yak Pizza. Since Frank was an avid pizza person, there's one spot. Pizza is kept greasy too! There's also a Chili's on South Virginia, near HWY 395, for those who want more than pizza. I will try to find two other places as options for this weekend. You can find me as David McCain on dweezilzappaworld.com where I am normally. But I shall post more stuff here. Peace out and never forget: Music is the Best! "

I mapped this and it looks like California Pizza is the nearest meeting location that is not a bar or casino, it is on the corner of 395 & 4th st., 5:30 sounds good. Does this meet everyone approval?

California Pizza was the other option I saw last night. I'll go to the soundcheck and get some photos ( hopefully! ). And then we can meet at CP. Just need a time to meet if everyone is cool. I think the soundcheck is at 4:30 pm. So maybe meet after 5:30 Pm (??? ).

Or if most of you guys would like me to wait at the Knitting Factory and take our photos there, that's fine too. I'm open to anything. Post here if cool with this. Take care.

Thanks David. It's nice that we will have a professional documenting the festivities. :D

Reno weather looks good for Thursday but up north here in Oregon it looks white with a little yellow on the side.
Planning to take I-5 south from Gold Hill Or to Hwy 89 to Hwy 44 to 395 into Reno.
I had to do some chaining up last week and may have to do it again for the love of Frank!

You'll make it buddy think positive!

Think positive everyone! We will ALL be there, no matter what. If Frank could perform concerts under the most trying circumstances ( and still execute his shows with almost prestine conditions ), then we can deal with snow going to a Zappa show. :D

I will be at California Pizza Kitchen at 5:30 pm. It looks like free parking at the Silver Legacy lot ( near the Circus Circus ) if you don't mind the walk.

I have a small Nikon point and shoot so I will be able to take lots of photos, or enough photos of us and some of the show ( and/or even the soundcheck ).

. . . Of course this could all end if North Korea decides to bomb Reno. Otherwise, we're all good.

My cell is on DZW.

We's wai'in', ney, not for the captures taken with a wooden camera, more of like what the fifth season dish of a discus con extra seafruits and flying fishesses went well with. You haven't indulged in wine and then gotten a beer at the venue? ... chaos complete. Let me voice another one then, ... what has the Dweeb been up to later the evening? ..I know, you tried to have some fun ..what was it then... .ah, you've forgotten, this sounds quite spectacular. We all envy you ..not.

Apropos apostrophe, haven't heard nuffn about catastrophies yet. Take it for a sign of that happenings are still not sure of what to make from all gallopin sillyness.

,,,me personally presumes that the gig tonight is the very thing to listening forward to. ...see Kapm' shiplog later

...could we get the abbreviated, disc-book verzy?.)...

Great time in Reno. Knitting Factory kind of a little bread box of a venue. Intimate and mostly standing. Band was great, better than ever but sound seemed to get progressively worse throughout the night (real heavy on the bass frequencies the second half of the show). Thanks to Plook and crew for taking me onboard.

Yes it was a good one, I want to take the time to thank Arch for leaving his tickets at the door for me, we really enjoyed the sound check, it was fantastic…we also got a poster. The VIP seating is not that great there but I guess it beats standing up, I am with KU there are problems with this venue, but the people that work there are fantastic and go the extra mile to help, this is a rare thing in the modern age. Also thank you Kapt.Kiirk for the signed set list, I will treasure it.

BTW we noticed at the sound check that Scheila is running the show, which from personal experience (I have a heard of women at home) is probably a good thing (the bands is awesome), I actually saw a look from hear I know well during a particularly hard part during the Apostropha stuff, she glared at the players as they looked at her, the look said "You did ok but don't let me catch you making a mistake"...I have seen that look before...lol...

Couldn't agree more. I've seen ZPZ 7 times in 7 places. The Crest along with House of Blues in Vegas have been the best venues imo.

KU must of had a hell of a time in Vegas, he keeps lobbying to move are annual ZPZ meet up to that city...if they decide to do a show there I think we will have to go since we know that if the Plook Crew has enough fuel and the right portal there is no telling were the time machine will take us...

I squeezed off a couple pictures on an old disposable camera I brought along. I'll post them on DZW soon. I don't seem to have much luck posting things on this forum.
