Dweezil and the Zappa Plays Zappa band will perform music from Via Zammata at each show.

02/02 - The Birchmere - Alexandria, VA
02/03 - The Gramercy Theatre - New York, NY
02/04 - Ridgefield Playhouse - Ridgefield, CT
02/05 - The Paradise - Boston, MA
02/06 - Ardmore Music Hall - Ardmore, PA
02/08 - Lincoln Hall - Chicago, IL
02/10 - Gothic Theatre - Englewood, CO

I'm guessing he'll add a few more.

I really hope there are more dates added too. Because unfortunately, since he's nowhere near the draw ZPZ is, there might not be that many more added (though, LA and the Bay area will probably get hit). But let's hope so...

I may have to check the show out.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned this but 4 dates above have had date changes, the Boston show is now in Allston, MA, the Chicago & Englewood, CO gigs have been cancelled (probably due to slow sales), while the LA and San Francisco dates remain the same.

Here is the updated schedule:

2/12 - Social Hall SF - San Francisco, CA
2/13 - The Regent Theatre - Los Angeles, CA

5/3 - Ridgefield Playhouse - Ridgefield, CT
5/4 - Ardmore Music Hall - Ardmore, PA
5/5 - The Birchmere - Alexandria, VA
5/6 - The Gramercy Theatre - New York, NY
5/7 - Brighton Music Hall - Allston, MA

Dweezil said the changes were "due to scheduling conflicts".

I'll never forget Dweezil's explanation for delaying the 2006 Amsterdam ZPZ concert, ZPZs European debut, by 6 months:

"There were these things, you see."

It was a great show in Ardmore last nite. I hadn't been to that venue since 1987. Still an awesome place.
It was great to see Chuck and hang with Kurt again. Cal was also there and he's super awesome guy. I had met him once before in 1989 at a record show. He signed my WOIIFTM and CWR&TJ albums.

Funky 15 and the 80s medley at the end were the highlights for me.

All of my LPs are now in cardboard record boxes because I am renovating my music room and will be installing new records shelves. Once I get everything done I will take some pics.
