They played Nashville last December. Since I missed that one, I'm giving the Louisville drive some thought, but hoping something closer pops up.

I didn't know they played there in December. I was still new on the forum, and buying the shit out of Zappa releases. I just missed it.

4 1/2 hour drive is rough, that's why we're making a weekend trip out of it in SLO, it's about that far if not further.

Question for chumcloud: Any idea what time (and the expected set length) for the Roaring Camp show?

Who knows what the peron's name is really, but as far as I understand it the person posting under that name works for Dweezil doing show booking and has inside knowledge. The "Sol Fest" Roaring Camp Railroad festival show in question is very close to my home, but the idea of having to sit there all day for an hour lone set of ZPZ for $50+ each is not real appealing. Thinking about a road trip to SLO instead at this point...

KU, Nic, and I made the same choice, we have our tickets and are staying in Morro Bay...PM if you want to meet up...the Plook on Tour offer is valid for a free lunch or dinner...

Well, may we now call you John? Either way, do you have an idea what time ZPZ's set will be at Sol, and how much time is the festival giving you?

Thank you for continuing to book ZPZ shows in the Santa Cruz, CA area!

The Mountain Sol Fest facebook page says ZPZ's set is 4pm - 5:30pm(SOL stage). ZPZ will follow The Motet and Railroad Earth will follow ZPZ. It looks like there is an hour between the SOL stage performences.

You should go to both. At Sol you could search vendors for a leather band to go around your PopStar head.

Movie Star Hair cross's over the threshold into the world of Pop/Rock Star Hair, but not vice versa...it's one of the unknowable mysteries of the Universe... :smoke:

If I make it to Nashville, will you get us the rest of the way to Louisville? I'll give you gas money.
