Now that the first leg of the tour is over, I wondered if anybody knows if the video from the Roxy concert of 1973 is available. Apparently, they filmed the concert. It would be great to buy a copy of it on DVD. Thanks.

Dude from "Scanners" head blows up. Does that response mean:

1) No, it's not available.
2) Yes, it's available.
3) I cannot believe you asked that question. How could you not search the archives thoroughly and find out the answer before asking? You deserve to have your head explode.

Thanks.

So I searched the archives with "roxy" and "DVD" to find all of these subject lines in the past month:

Subject: When Is The Roxy DVD Out?
Subject: Help Get the Roxy Film on DVD!
Subject: Zappa movies on DVD ??????
Subject: roxy & elsewhere WHERE IS IT???

...and most importantly:
Subject: Roxy Video Availability

...wherein it is written that there's a lot of footage that would need to be edited and synced, and likely no budget to do so.

Maybe my next subject should be:
Subject: Did Frank Zappa Do Drugs?

That post should be renamed 'The Average Joe's Guide to Frank Zappa'.

Ok, I got that JayP as I just watched Scanners tonight (Paris time).

Trivia: Right after the school bus crash scene in the record store when the police inspects the mess, there are several Sheik Yerbouti LPs on the walls.

You need to resize it to

70 x 56

I guess the limit is 70, isn't it?

The limit is 80x80.

Here's one that isn't squashed into 80x80. This one's 80x64.

Hey Cleon, if you really want to use this as an avatar, then right click or control click on it and choose the save to disk option. You can upload an avatar from your computer, it doesn't have to be hosted.
