Imagine being someone like Roy Estrada, a guy who not only was in The Mothers, but ALSO The Magic Band AND he was in the original Little Feat! Instead of his twilight years being a time to reflect on all that great music he was an important part of, now he's going to rot behind bars all because he couldn't or wouldn't control his perverted side.

Such a shame... I hope the kids he hurt got all the help and support they would need.

Roy having to face the threat of prison retributions for being a child molester is CRUEL AND UNUSUAL PUNISHMENT!

That he is consigned to such a miserable fate in prison is not justice, it's vengeance and vigilantism.

But, we American's are a mean and cruel bunch, and somehow we find this sort of thing OK.

I recall some radio ad's in the mid 90's here in Connecticut, warning of the horrible fate that awaits prisoners convicted of statutory rape. The fucking state was pimping the fact that child molesters have a lot less Constitutional rights as human beings in prison than other prisoners. Fucking nice, huh?

What makes you think its statutory rape, he was with a child under 14 years of age and he is a 68 year old man, if it was my kid he would be dead and I don't even believe in violance. He is a predator of the worst kind and deserves what he gets, I will give you the beifit of the doubt that you were talking out of your ass before I call you an idiot...

A sad situation for all involved.

It also sucks that Frank's name is associated with that creep on that article.

You go through life with a propensity to keeping your own mortality safe, then you have kids and grandkids, all bets are off at that point. You realize I am willing to die or suffer any fate to keep them safe, in a well rounded individual it becomes instinctual. God help those empty beings who would hurt a child…
