With the exception of the Orange Julius Shoppes ( I had a bad experience at one of those)
I like the way you think dude!

I agree, respect for elders would be a good thing to bring back cos there's none of that any more. Also, yummy Galaxy Counters which were lovely little counter shaped choccy sweets in a white bag with a Giraffe and some other animals on the packet....I remember getting them from the Post Office on the way home from school.
Only other thing I'd really like to see making a comeback (and not a remake, the absolute original only) is Animal Kwackers!!!

"Do you believe in Rock and Roll....?"
This used to terrify me as a child, but at the same time I was wildy intrigued by the grotesque creatures, especially Rory the blue Rastafarian Lion! I think it was about 20 minutes of stories and covers of popular songs of the time (including The Sex Pistols, The Clash, The Beatles etc. I was probably only about 4 or 5!

Here's a clip of the start of the show...heheh well worth watching and I bet someone else remembers it too! People I worked with years ago never believed me when I told them about it, no-one could remember it and at the time there were no clips on the internet - luckily, someone has uploaded some since!

They do look terribly frightening, Aspy... but then, as a kid, I was scared of the giants in the Fraggles.

You're not alone on that one BBP. They were frightening.

Oh yes, Beebs, they were frigtening! Weren't the giants called "Gorgs" in Fraggle Rock? Hehehe they were pretty scary too! God knows what made the creators of Animal Kwackers think those characters were suitable for a kids TV show!!!!

... I always watched the Dutch Freggels, not sure what the giants were called there, maybe reuzen (which is Dutch for giants). Watching them again, I discovered their voicing was quite poor, especially the closing theme lost its strength.

Corsets. I've known a few women who wear them, largely for fetish reasons, but this would be nice to see. I'd also like men to try to dress like adults again. It's embarassing to see grown men walking around dressed like children.

Yeah, I once told a coworker: "Sneakers are for tennis and shorts are for children."
Jesus,I'm snotty.

Things that I'd wish would make a comeback? Good local radio.

Cheers. I do love the Orange Julius, but I haven't had one since the late eighties. There was a time when it was my favourite malted drink.
