You must be probably right. It's such a delicious little tone that it almost makes me think of a polysynth line for a moment or two, but yes, although I'm not a player myself, and I can't say which oscillator/ filter he must be tweaking in order to come up with this particular, ‘micro invasive’ tone , I'm pretty sure it's a Mini Moog under Peter's precious little fingers (the patches both he and Tommy use on the Mini during the 1977 - 1979 concert seasons also sort of give it away)

I understand that this machine was tremendously versatile, no wonder guys like FZ and affiliated musicians would give it a go and take it to really amazing territories
