..had happened 30 years earlier, all stages would have had very restricted access and fences all around, and we would have had Zappa with the higher singing voice to the end.

FZ sings very little on pre-Rainbow albums. I wonder if, had Rainbow not happened, Frank would have sung things like Greggery Peccary, or Torture.

I had not played the early albums for a while, and it took me a while to recognize him on We Are Only In It For The Money.
