For me it's the four together or not at all.
The 1967-1977 Pink Floyd albums get played quite frequently in my home.
I have never had any interest in their solo work, or anything that was released under the Pink Floyd name after "The Wall".
Even then, I watched the movie "The Wall" once (DVD has been in my collection for 15 years un-watched), and I had last played the full album about 18 years ago.

Not sure if Waters has any kids, but Gilmour's son was / is a dickhead.
Waters then...

I used to be a floyd fan, but now I don't give a fuk about them, if I can hear Zappa :smoke:

Man does not live on Zappa alone though you can have a pretty varied and nutritious diet if you choose to go that way. There's a lot of other good stuff out there if you're open to it. Zappa led me to a lot of things I would never have checked out otherwise.

Well, I also hear some bebop (Miles Davis, John Coltrane, Charle Parker), and some classical (Varesè, Bàrtok, Stravinsky). Zappa is up there too, the thing is I know much more music by Frank than by them, so he's still my favourite.

New Gilmour release inspired by the SCNF French train system jingle:

Waters, indeed.

Gilmour is a brillant guitar player but has really nothing to say.
"Amused to death" is way underrated.
Jeff Beck makes you forget about Gilmour on that album.
I like music that sticks in my heart and my soul.
And lyrics that do the same.

So, it's Waters.

I will never forget the day I surprisingly found my AtD cassette on a Jan-Cotu stand among some odd commerical releases. It had just been released. I listened to it day and night on my old "walkman" for a while; this album is indeed marvellous. I guess it was recently remastered and released on vinyl as well...

I'm on a countdown to attend Gilmour's first ever Brazilian gig within a week.

You found it in a Jean-Coutu drugstore ? I'm wondering if you're from province of Québec cause that's where these
stores are to be found. Unless, other stores opened elsewhere that I'm not aware of. I'm not really a Financial wiz (business news bore me to death).
BTW,will Waters end his career doing those Wall shows ? It's about time he does something else.

Gilmour all the way. He wrote Pink Floyd's best music.
