I was a big fan of Ten Years After during the Lee years and also thought that Alvin's solo material was excellent.

A good enough guitarist and songwriter than FZ named-checked him on Peaches III.

In HS way back when, we were listening to Choo Choo Mama by Ten Years After,
I said I liked it and a fellow toker said "you know what 'Choo Choo Mama, ride that rail' means?"

No.

"Well think about it... you know what 'pulling a train' means, you virgin-boy?"

No.

Then we heard 'Rock and Roll Music To the World'. The two are the only tracks from the album I remember; after all, it was over 40 years ago.
