What a freaking loser, never knew Zappa fans could be lame. Any link to the MTV interview?

You'd better hire a taster Jim. I wouldn't trust his creamy clam-sauce.

An excerpt from his latest steaming pile of prose in Zappa Concerts:

I don't feel the need to bundle the Variety clipping into any perceptions of bullshit. While they could have chosen a different keyword to describe Frank Zappa An American Composer the so called keyword of Quirky is a peculiar peculiarity of a modern generation that needs to fit in as much punch into a single editorial blog heading keyword-word. I just don't think that the average columnist and reader can associate with an acronym as AAAFNRAA. One thing for sure about the composers so called quirkiness. In speaking of one of the defining factors of quirkiness there certainly are many sharp turns and twists in the composers work. I'll look past the blog head writing trends and get into the meat and potatoes of what is being served at the theatre.

Sometimes I consider joining DZW under an irrecognizable user name, and post incomprehensible dada texts as a work of absurdist art.

Then again, I still need to file my nails.

I could post my dada works here if I ever need to vent, of course.

A rabid fan gushes at DZW:

"...Everything feels likes it's alive!" -DZ

The fabric tones of your aural canvas have crossed over into a new dimension. The layering unravels with the harmonic senses of a magician's birthday. Not to get lost in the smoke in mirrors, the compositional aspects of your playing is the so called fun-rewards that will remain long after the 100th anniversay of Harry Houdini's passing. The air scultures transend from a beginning point within the moment to the infinity of the immagination of the listener. Now Harry always said that his ultimate magical act would be to come back. The truth of the matter is that some things live on forever.

"The layering unravels with the harmonic senses of a magician's birthday."
So, ZPZ is sounding like Uriah Heep Plays Zappa, nowadays?

-------------------------------------------------------------

Lyrics to a song by "The Guess Who". I've changed only two words...

Moan For You Joe

I told you long ago
To stop comin round
Your talking and your writing
Are a constant down

You're mock educated
And you're mock well read
Your mouth keeps moving
Not a word gets said

And it drags me down
To see you mess yourself this way
And I moan for you
Watching you every day.

Trendy went to a concert.

I had the opportunity to see I Come From Nowhere performed live at Zappa's Universe at The Ritz back in 1991. The guest vocalist with the Zappa's Universe Rock Band was Alan Gregory. I had attended all the shows and from my memory the song was only done at one of the performances.

After seeing the ZPZ video I think it is fair to state that the ZPZ performances are the World Premiere performances of the composers intent. To see this composition done at this level has been well worth the long wait. The studio arrangement is the only reference.

Dweezil's intro story to ZPZs performance sets the tone for the listener to immerse themselves in the marshmallow flambay. The soloist vocal role that was played by Roy Etsrada is a unique opportunity for Scheila Gonzalez to light up the stage with the commical broadway aspects that can often shine in Frank's work. She did her homework.

The ZPZ band is totally immersed in the composition. The rythmic interplay between the bass, drums and guitar is an N'Lightening stage backdrop. The aural essence that Frank produced on the Ship Arriving Too Late To Save A Drowning Witch record. This is a most unique setting and the interplay is a soup with lots of garlic and provincial herbs .

Dweezil's solo is evident of an eye and ears opening experience. Beyound the boundaries of the imamgination of the immaginer.

Looking forward to seeing this several times over the tour. So much thanks that this is being done.

I wonder if he wore his gas mask.

World Premiere performances of Composer's Intent. Hah, as if any prior efforts were completely meaningless. I have to admire Titone's tenacity to twist his worldview to align itself with whatever ZFT does and pretend it's all fair and square. However, mention the concept of cognitive dissonance to Titone and you'd probably get a blank, empty stare.

Oops! Trendy watched a video. Forgive my misrepresentation. But I'll bet he saw it through his gas mask. He probably had a vacuum hose up his old wazoo, too. That might account for the 9 misspellings, as perhaps a hemorrhoid or two acted up.

I have absolutely nothing against ZPZ, but this poses the following speculation

The composer's "intent" was to do a crappy version of "I Come From Nowhere" on SATLTSADW and then die way too young in the knowledge that his son would then carry out his true "intent" over a decade later?

Basically two decades, but time does run understandably fast.

If ZPZ ever attempts "The Radio is Broken", with Scheila again impersonating the fucked-up vibrato of Estrada and Benny doing Frank's parts, you can of course imagine Trendy pontificating how this is the definitive realisation of the Composer's Intent as Trendmonger Wants Us To Believe.

Why does he want to blow Dweezil so damn hard?

How did Trendfag move away from his love of Frank to his son? Does he feel he is the second coming?
