I keep watching for new Trendy nonsense at DZW. Trust me, when I find it, you'll see it here within minutes. Or look on the bright side: Maybe I've finally convinced him to shut up.

Ha! And if you believe that, there's this big orange bridge in San Francisco I'd like to sell you. I'll even throw in five free indulgences and a papal tonsure bleaching.

What a gruelling campaign to have to endure. First, reading his post and then copying and pasting them. Just the thought of it makes my eyes burn. Oh well; one mans holocaust is another mans hobby.

That'd be The Golden Gate, if it were referred to as "the big orange bridge" it would be in Florida!

BTW,on DZW, the hook is baited. I even through in Ike Willis, that should get a rise outta him.

They had a bit of a fuck-up over the weekend at DZW. It happened during one of their frequent "improvements," which never fail to irritate the piss out of us change-resistant old farts. This latest one resulted in exposing everyone's email address to the general public. People were angry about this, so much so that the computer geek responsible felt obliged to make a big apology. Trendy, of course, embraced it. His heroes can do no wrong.

"@ Steven,

"No worrries. Thank you for clarifying what had taken place. The descriptions on the many new site enhancements are quite extensive. As with any change I am forever an optimist. A toast for a wider scope of possibilities."

I wonder how many people made a note of Gary's email address. I wonder how many Hustler subscriptions and Nigerian noblemen will soon populate his mailbox.

Here's another gem from the Trendmeister:

Frank Zappa - Amnerika

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v7msf3Fv06Q

I find it intersting of how music can move thoughts. While I have heard this composition many times with varied thoughts this evening I am thinking of "Time Caught in a Bottle". The music here can change your breathing with a sense of stopping time. Not so much a Police Message in a Bottle but more-so how the composition envokes the thought of capturing time in a bottle. If it were cinema there would be some production name for it but in my reaction to FZs music it is just how I was moved on this occasion. As we go on looking at life from our inner center I can not help but thinking of the value of time. To all that we share here at Dweezil Zappa World. Let me take this moment to give thanks. Giving thanks may be a set of literal words but it is the time and space that we share. How can we even put that in a message. It's best to let the composers music in time be that message. Thanks To Frank....

Your assignment, should you choose to accept it...I know, Mission: Impossible...WHAT THE FUCK IS HE TALKING ABOUT?

Except for the use of the Zappa name, I believe I heard that same speech in church, one Sunday.

He does sermonize all things ZFT. Then breaths fire and brimstone if you don't agree totally with him. I've started to answer him with the all encompassing "Huh?" At least I'll get the condensed version of 4 or 5 lines, instead of 40 of his Gail-speak crap. It's funny, when I do that his first line reply is always "Well if you can't understand plain English-yadda-yadda", like we should all know what he's talkin' about even if he don't.

Even his condensed versions aren't plain English. I wish he spoke Ebonics, or Klingon, something I can follow.

Don't follow too close Jim. That back-blast area can be deadly.

Kudos to Kapt. Kiirk!

Gary wrote on Apr 16, 2013 at 10:49 PM
"@Kapt.Kirk,

"If I were you I would be more worried about getting e-mails regarding pet monkeys. In reading your commentary reply of a news item regarding Justin Beiber's Pet Monkey Gary you have once again pushed the envelope. You obviosly have an agenda to push negativity. For you to state Dweezil Zappa World has a pet moneky with the same name. After all that has taken place in recent times ,I would hope you had a bit more discipline. You have repeatedly stirred trouble at Zappa.com and then you come here and pretent to play nice. It's quite obvious that you lack the discipline of good will.

"We should all be thrilled at the opportunity we have. That being enjoying official Zappa music. Not only how the Project/Object has been moving forward but how much Dweezil Zappa has dedicated his life to FZs music. What Dweezil has done to keep the evolution of ZPZ moving forwards is quite remarkable. I just don't see jokes associated with anything about Dweezil Zappa World or me personally for that matter being too cool. It's about time more so called hardcore Zappa fans get a bit more serious about it all. Between issues like these and the rediculous views of folks thinking ZPZ is some corporate greed entity is preposterous. Not only was Boston very sad but it's clear that some folks just keep spreading the anti-good will. If I may give some simple advice. Let Peace Reign."

I'll be back in a few to editorialize. First I must smoke. :smoke:

He's threatening you, Kiirk. You better knuckle under to the pet monkey before he runs off and tells Daddy Dweezil. 'Nuff said -- Stan Lee

Hilarious. He might as well say "You, sir, have called me a bad name and there is no way I can do less than say that it must be an insult to FZ, his entire family and all he stood for. Take that!"

I didn't, I just noticed that the Beib had a pet monkey named Gary, just like Dweezil has on DZW....well I guess I did kinda make a monkey outta him sorta'.

If your offended Gary, you need to unclench and take a joke for a change! imho. Life's too short man!

I'm sure he's had a dossier started on everyone who registers on Z-com or DWZ...just in case some one gets negative, which btw, is determined by him too.

I got shit-canned.

The post Trendmuncher is complaining about isn't even at DZW. It's right here on the General board under Recent Events (or some similar title that I may have misremembered already, despite just having been there two minutes ago. Alzheimer's is a bitch.)

Oops! Make that Breaking News.
