Who , in your opinion , has been responsible for releasing both great and hideous recordings ? Well for me it's got to be Phil Collins. How can anyone be part of a group that released such classics as "The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway" and end up doing a cover of "You can't hurry love"?? Diabolical !

The Clash. Their last album "Cut the Crap" was just... well, crap. (Mick and Topper left right after "Combat Rock", whichh contributed heavily to their downfall.)

This is a toughie...seeing as most of the prime examples have been taken  :-/ Definately Phil Collins and Journey. Going along the lines of great 70's music to horrific 80's music--Styx!! The first couple albums were pretty great, and then... :-X :-X :-X :-X I'll write when I can think of more....
