Damn fine actor.From Marty to McHale,drama to comedy he had it all.When asked why he was still acting at his age (86 at the time) he said I'm a charactor actor and as long as there's a charactor to play,I'll be working.
My first encounter with Ernest Borgnines dramatic side was in From Here To Eternity as the bully Sgt..I tell ya I hated that guy.Even though I was 11 and it was a rerun on TV,that prick bothered me! The sign of a master thesbian at work.El Bummo! He will be missed. :cry:

They were both very important, well-known and loved figures of present-day Dutch poetry, although Komrij was more of a bad boy and Kopland a teddy bear.

Donald J. Sobol, the author of the popular Encyclopedia Brown and Two-Minute Mysteries series, died on Wednesday, Reuters reports. He was 87.
