Got to see him perform once in the late 70's, in a small church in New Brunswick, NJ. Rest in peace.

Ah, the good ol' days of Hara-Kiri.
No magazines in the world could come close to it.
Like an idiot, I threw my ol'ones in the trash in the early 80's.

The originals can sell at a price you wouldn't believe.
A friend of mine has a book store selling new and used ones.
A guy gave him something like 600-700$ for a bunch of ol' ones.

I woud be rich !

Didn't know about Alvin Lee at all! Very sad, indeed. So much to say about Pete Seeger, don't know where to start...I remember seeing the documentary about The Weavers called Wasn't That A Time? and really enjoying it and Pete, et al...great loss.

Oy. Those magazine covers...thankfully, I wasn't eating. :P

One of the best actors to come along in awhile. I knew he fucked around when he was younger, I'm just shocked he didn't have someone around. But that's the nature of the beast. If you let anyone know you like it once in a awhile, your labeled a junkie and you don't get work. If it was legal the doses would be regulated and most fixes would come with a bottle of narcon. Just drink it you come back around quick.
What a waste, I looked forward to each film he was in, he was that good! Damn shame.

Crap. Hoffman was probably my favorite actor of the last 20 years. If I saw he was in the cast I would watch the movie no other information needed. It seems I just saw a statement from him in the past half year where he talked about his heroin use and was hopefully getting a handle on it. I guess not. What a shame.

  PSH is dead? Shut the fuck up! Worse news of the new year. I haven't felt this bad since hearing about Phil Hartman's death. This guy had talent all over the place and his whole life ahead of him. Now his kids no longer have a father. A real heart breaker. What's the appeal of being a doper?
