You are right; Action Man came out for the first time in 1966. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Action_Man But I had a GI Joe (where the fuck I got him from, I do not know) and several Action Men (one, I vaguely, probably wrongly remember in Waffen SS uniform) as well as a lunar capsule so there :P
I burned them all...

One Action Man was chucked into a hedge in our garden by my brother - I remember searching for him for weeks. But he went MIA.
I burned the all the others, though...

Yes, and the later ones had evil eyes and groping hands I think.

The groping hands tended to fall off after about a week.

She talked so darn slow, I'd fall asleep at a speech. But from her writings I've gleaned a fuller picture of her. She started out professionally singing Calypso and didn't talk for 5 years after her uncle abused her at age seven. Some of her prose is absolutely beautiful and inspired works. She will be missed.

She didn't rock my world either. :|

Peeping Tom is an awesome movie and definitely in my Top 10. Watch it at night in the dark.

Also, Mike Patton's band was inspired by the movie...

An excellent album recommended to me by Mr. Arkay. Who also recommended Umphrey McGee, who I like also.

First saw Peeping Tom about 10 or 12 years ago. Classic thriller which pre-dated Psycho.

I jammed with Peking Tom back in the 60's. He was originally from Phuket, Laos but Peking Tom sounded better to the censors.

Peeping Tom is classic but I don't think it got much respect upon release. What a surprise.

I liked that Peeping Tom album too. That pretty much seals it.

DJ legend Dave Herman dies awaiting sex charges trial

He was in jail on federal charges that he tried to solicit sex with a child via website.

NEWARK – Former legendary New York disc jockey Dave Herman died Thursday while awaiting trial on federal criminal sex charges, officials said.

The U.S. Marshals Service, which had jurisdiction over Herman while he was incarcerated at Essex County Jail in New Jersey, confirmed his death Thursday.

Herman, 78, who was known for hosting WNEW's Rock & Roll Morning Show for more than two decades, complained of chest pains Wednesday night, Essex County spokesman Anthony Puglisi said. He was taken that night to University Hospital in Newark, the closest trauma center to the jail, where he died 11 a.m. Thursday, Puglisi said.

The cause of death remains undetermined with an autopsy scheduled for Friday, officials said.
