Just like Bat said at the end of the old thread, those blank pages are a "pain in the ass". I was just reading the thread and it was a pain without even trying to post.

I'll just say Bat, that I have more faith in the science fraternity as a whole than you do. I'm not saying there aren't dubious individuals, but hey, they're all human.

I'm in agreement with you but I'm also acutely aware of how the winds blow from different directions and how the cash flow from can come from different directions so my skepticism, especially in the last tweny years, has crossed over the line into cynicism. And there's nothing inherently wrong about cynicism unless its just a blind, blanket attitude you hold onto out of pure prejudice.
