My sister came down on me a little too hard.

We were lifting her up so she could get in my bedroom window as we'd inadvertently locked ourselves out.

Unemployed. Someone offering a job (I was holding out for a full-time position) finally said yes.

Thanks Reet! Of course, this means my Zappa.com footprint will be much, much smaller from now on. (Cal's chance to catch up post-countwise!)

Excellent Doug, gainfully employed at long last.....

I was sitting in traffic this morning and noticed a familier quote sign written on the tailgate of the ute (pickup truck) in front of me: "You can't be a real country unless you have a beer and an airline - it helps if you have some kind of a football team or some nuclear weapons, but at the very least you need a beer" signed with Franks name. the vehicle belongs to Moa Beer Ltd....Imagine my surprise.

JPD what kind of work do you do that it took so long to get a job?

Estimator at a printing plant. Went bankrupt, and flooded the market with print-type people.
New job is as a phone-in customer service person.
It seems people over 57 are not hot prospects for most jobs.

It depends on what you can do, there is a lot of jobs for building maintenance, but in general I would agree, for me part time is all I want and that is what most business wants to hire.

10 min. ago, I just extinguished a fire in an oil pot over the stove in the neighbour's apartment, right after Mrs Green Genes sensed the smoke.
