Bought an Oor magazine with FZ on the cover. And a 4 by 4 by 4 Rubik's cube with pictures on it (harder than one with just unicolour blocks), so that'll keep me off the street.

From the looks of this one, by the time I've finished it I will have thrown my entire collection out of the window. (My collection has only 2 by 2 by 2 and 3 by 3 by 3 cubes, with various decorations, some in cilinder or ball or diamond shape) Because this one has illustrations on either side, there's literally 1 solution: the pictures in the centre need to be aligned and rotated in exactly the right way. In any of my other picture cubes, this is always the most trouble.

Moving is in the top ten of the most stressful things you can do....

Take a deep breath NP moving also gives you a chance to throw some stuff away and tidy up your life..

Moving a house is very hard, did you have to have the overhead utilities moved before you pulled the house down the street?

I always hear things like this, but I think it is quite easy to name 10 items that would be far more stressful:

Being raped
Surviving an airplane crash
Being lost in the wilderness
Being shot at (stabbed, etc.)
Finding out you have a terminal disease
Losing someone very close to you
Losing a body part in an accident
Having your house burn down
Being tortured
Attempting to complete a picture 4 by 4 by 4 Rubik's cube

I am not trying to discount the significance of stress that occurs when moving. Moving is a very stressful event. I am simply wondering why top ten stress lists never include most of the items I listed above? Is it simply because these events are usually over more quickly than a move (duration of the event)? Or is it because most of these events are unlikely to happen to the majority of people? I am sure there are probably many other events a person could experience that would be far more stressful than some I have mentioned as well, but how is the stressfulness of a given event measured?

I was heavily taxed (almost 100% of the original purchase) by Brazilian customs for a used LP version of George Duke's Brazilian Love Affair from the UK...

I'm not discounting your list duchamp

I'm in the storage biz so most of the people I deal with on a daily basis are moving moving moving.

Now on the whole kiwis are generally pretty laid back people, but when they are moving in or moving out or just moving about their stress levels are turned all the way up to eleven....Maybe I should write a book

Being raped, You'ed probably want to move.

Surviving an airplane crash, I'd be relieved.

Being lost in the wilderness, is that a bear keep moving!

Being shot at (stabbed, etc.) Moving to a new neighborhood.

Finding out you have a terminal disease, ahh yeah I'd be stressed.

Losing someone very close to you, Sad but not stressed, could be time for a change of scene.

Losing a body part in an accident, ouch

Having your house burn down, mmm you'll be moving.

Being tortured, I know what thats like (I was married for 13 years) I had to move

Attempting to complete a picture 4 by 4 by 4 Rubik's cube....you got me there, prozac or a hammer could be the only cure..I hate the cube

Very awkward to find Pope Jim gone... poor guy. His last post on this forum was "Twinkies", in one of the Secret Word topics.

I'm heading for Sacramento over the causeway with 80mph gust of wind. It's blowing about 40mph steady. Trees are down, it's a scene. 8) Nature, you gotta love her!

I'll have to ask Sabbs if she decided to wear jeans, instead of a skirt, today.
