Sorry, the board attachment quota has been reached.
This happened
Anyone else getting this message?
Does admin just need to cough up $3 more for unlimited space?

The board attachment ratio is virtually nothing, You need to upload images via somebody else. I'm technically useless, so you need info from Polydigm or even. dare I say it, Disco Boy. Or consult the FAQ about uploading images.

Give up on adding images as attachments and upload them to a tertiary server, like Photobucket.

OK. The same message cropped up on Michaels Messers board a few weeks ago. $3 more space actually solved the problem.

How to post a picture (without using the Attach file function).

Say I want to post the picture of Frank yelling that's on the Zappa.com What's New page. (BTW, the photo has to be on the internet to use this method. You can't do this with a picture on your computer. For that you need to upload it to a photo site such as Photobucket.)

Image

I put my mouse over the image and right-click the mouse, getting this:

Image

Click Copy Image URL on the little menu that comes up. This will copy the url that the image is at to your clipboard (which you won't see).

Come here and start a post or click post reply.

Image

Click the Img button above the post area.

Image

Notice that when you click Img the cursor is already inserted between the [img]and[/img] tags. All you do now is press (at the same time) Ctrl and V. This will paste the URL that you copied earlier in between those two tags.

Image

Now all you need to is click submit, and the image will be displayed within the post. And you won't get any messages about attachement quotas.

I didn't know before I posted the above that the picture I posted is actually two images, a top and a bottom. Here's the bottom....

A good day indeed! I went on healthcare.gov and narrowed my family of three's options under the ACA. Turns out, we will pay $500 to $700 LESS per month than we are currently paying, with better coverage, keeping our doctors and getting all of our generic drugs covered.

I found the site to be logical and easy to move around in, but I haven't actually bought a policy so I can't evaluate that yet.

Not bad.

That is because the back end of the site has not been built yet, you must be at a very low annual income but more important the site is NOT secure !! No debate about that I hope you have life lock or something similar.
A friend of mine makes 36k a year, he will pay 450 bucks a month with a 6k annual deductible.

I commend you on convincingly spouting Republican talking points. But let's see where this goes. I will definitely report back when we close the deal.

As for security, I am as wary of this as I am about all transactions online. But I watched 2 entire congressional hearings on the topic (god help me) and I wasn't convinced that security is any more a problem than other online endeavors. I hope I'm right about that one.

We have very good insurance coverage now, but it's quite expensive. LIke I said, we're going to get better coverage and pay less for it. It's such a no brainer, so far.

I would like to join the rest of the civilized world, with universal health care. But we all know that's never happening, right?

I would like that also but it is simple mathematics ,NO ONE has ever been turned away by a doctor in this country, and the web site is NOT secure,, get life lock, only 50 bucks a year, worst case sue the gov. I am not making any thing up, take Concord nh, the concord hospital is not taking aca exchange gee how many people in the capitol city are going to lose their Dr. These are the things obama does not want to talk about, just wait this thing is not getting better, just more tax and spend waste and we the tax payers suffer .

Technically I am a little late, but my father died last night, the day before Zappa died. Seems very strange to me.

Sleepwalked and woke up with a large gash in my knee.

We just returned from an amazing 8 week tour performing "The Roxy & Elsewhere" album. It was an unforgettable jaunt playing great music with great people all over the world! Zappa Plays Zappa is now setting up shop at the intimate Roxy venue in Los Angeles for three nights, December 7th, 8th and 9th to celebrate the 40th anniversary of this iconic album. On each of the 3 nights we will play the "Roxy & Elsewhere" in it’s entirety and then present uniquely different post "Roxy" sets. Come out and join the party!

I'm glad she got through the tour with those heels - strutting round in them to 'I come from nowhere' looked way more tricky than actually playing the songs.
