Might have been Sabbs moving in. The record pix would have been in a thread about everyone's music collection. (and, I probably mentioned that when I first moved in, a passerby asked if I was opening a music store.)

Good memory jpd, I believe I asked you if you owned or worked in a record store also. I remember thinking, 'where's he gonna put Sabbs?', there were so many records! How long ago was that?

Was that the picture of you in front of the rather large TV screen, JPD? I remember teasing you about it - these days my wife and my eyesight have gotten so poor that we are considering a similar sized model.

If you save some of the split pea soup and mix it with your eggs and ham you could have green eggs and ham. :D Just a suggestion.

I wondered what Western classics I could order. I ned more Randolph Scott and Budd Boetticher. But the ones I would like to have first aren't available: The Life and Times of Judge Roy Bean, The Left Handed Gun, Bad Company, The Culpepper Cattle Company, Dirty Little Billy ...

Nice pix, Doug - I'm impressed. Do you order your Lp's alphabetically?

Goodness!

I ordered my classical music records by composer birthdate but my collection grew too large for the racks to hold. I need to reorganize sometime. Zappa albums too are ordered chronologically, as is my Primus collection, and with any other artist I have more than 2 jewelcase records from.

I was stopped by an old woman while I was strolling around WalMart. She says to me "did you hear about the girl who ate bullets?". I'm thinking this lady's nuts but trying to be nice I feign interest and say "no". Then she says " her hair came out in bangs".

I just found out that a post I (thought to have) made a couple of days ago in the What Book Are You Reading Thread seems simply to have vanished...

Just got back from Oroville, CA.. Mostly a bus trip 1&1/2 hours with a short train trip from Sac., to Davis. 12-15 miles. It was 70 degrees there and hotter here! Redding is 25 degrees higher than normal at 80 degrees. We're breaking all kinds of records, which isn't good. We need rain and a snowpack something fearsome out here. The drought notices are starting to come out. No watering, no washing your car and if caught, heavy fines.
While I was there I had a nice talk with KUIII, next day (today) I called Plook and he was headed to Sac. to see a specialist with Mrs. Plook. I wished them well. Poor lady, she and Plook need a break...bad! :(

Last night I got the car stuck in a muddy field (with three of the kids and me in it), and had to get it towed out with a tractor this morning. Then this morning I drove a round trip of 140 miles to go to a job I have booked in for next week.
I am over being a dumb twat for the last 24 hours.

Yes. Start at the back, left, top row, then walk in a circle, down a row, walk in a circle, and then bottom row.
Picture doesn't show Box sets, and, of course, all the CDs I have aquired since then.

Add the Outlaw Josie Wales. A good one from Clint Eastwood partly filmed near my Northern California childhood home. My neighbor and some of his horses (they were cattle ranchers) were in the film.

Went to a museum in Leiden two days ago and am still recovering from being on my feet all day. I'm getting old.

Trying to get the hang of New Youtube but it's more than I can handle. All I want to do is edit my music playlist so all the songs that are no longer in there can be removed, but I'd need to get a Google +-account first: until that I cannot access my videos or playlists. I have 300+ videos on there and my account is essentially taken hostage.

I remember I had to sign up for Google+. What I did was I signed up, and added nobody to my "circle". I never go there, and I can use all the functions on Youtube, and Google+ never bothers me. I may have had to opt out of emails, but it's non-existent to me.

Ah, Calvin, but someday, somewhere, somehow, one day a picture of you, picking your nose at your first girlfriend's birthday at the age of seven will turn up in the internet on somebody's facebook page.
Don't worry: we'll all add a "like".

That won't happen. I hit my first girlfriend in the head with a beach ball and she broke up with me.
