That's cute, Cal! Me, I smashed an egg on the forehead of my first boyfriend.

Anyway, been nauseous and feverish for two days now. Feel like shit but am catching up on reading.

I kissed my first girlfriend in her bedroom which was full of Osmonds posters.

I have disliked the dentist ever since.

Received a call from the deadbeat ex-wife today. She plans on driving down from NY to spend a few days with our son on his birthday in March. This is better than him having to fly up there for his spring break. The part that fucked me up was that she may be staying with one of my childhood friends, and his wife. This was a very good friend I've known almost my whole life. Nothing like a good back stabbing from one of your best friends.

She was murdered by her common law boyfriend about 25 years ago. Shame, she was a lovely girl.
Anyway, today was my youngest's 7th birthday party. :D

Spent $160 keeping my 93 Buick Regal on the road. Still better than a car payment every month. :)

Chopped a branch off a tree and sawed the thorny sucker a coupla times. Man do I feel rough. In a moment I'll watch Totoro and continue knitting on my pink elephant, but right now I'm tough!

Went to the second-hander, had a surprise find.
As a nipper I was once given a toy car game, a dashboard with computer screen, a tiny steering wheel and a little car that you could steer left and right. I loved it, but I only had it for like a week until my evil stepmother gave it away.
Today I found one of those games at the choppe, and I nearly died of nostalgia right there.

...I didn't. Don't know why exactly, at 2,50 it wasn't cheap and the little car on the screen was supposed to respond to the steering wheel, but it didn't.

Took part in a dictation competition yesterday, first prize was a job, or an I-pad in case the job was not desired. Which was why I signed up.
Winner was a person who did dictations as a hobby and was absolutely not intending to do the job in the first place. I can't help but think he's a rotten bastard, there were so many people there hoping to score a job, and only the 1st place was offered it.

Off to England for a week with my youngest tomorrow. Wondering whether I should pack a snorkel or not...

Arrived in the "Land of the Roundabouts" yesterday. Still, at least everyone speaks English here.

Drove from Luton Airport to Oxford, avoiding the M25. Try it. It's like driving under the influence of a very mild hallucenogenic.

I bought it today. Spent some time fixing it and it should work now, providing I can find the right batteries.
