Heya Cal---this DVD comes with the other version (1961 or '62) starring Ann Margaret and --probably why you thought it sucked---Pat Boone, I remember seeing it once and I think I did'nt like it much, either. I bought a box set of Rodgers & Hammerstein movie musicals and am going through them. At least I know my folks have been enjoying these, me too.

The King And I--(1956) Dang, Yul Brenner was one sexy monarch. Et cetera, et cetera, et cetera.

Yeah, that's the one.

O-o-o-o-klahoma! & The Sound Of Music. Watched part of Cry-Baby this morning to balance out all that wholesomeness.

This DVD shows Tony Iommy Using his own examples to explain how Black Sabbath wrote, worked and played together. Also featured is archive footage of vintage Black Sabbath live and promo videos.

The Hobbit...An Unexpected Journey 3D high frame rate. A long 169 minutes: take a pillow

What can I say....An abundance of impressive special effects, great scenery, though in some cases it's hard to tell whats real and whats not, still if you put your brain in neutral its a fun movie.

The audience gave it a 5 minute standing ovation at the end!
(not me of course, I'm far too cool/old for public displays of emotion)

As it was made here, by a local boy, Wellingtonians have taken all these Tolken movies to heart, with a large number of film goers dressing up as wizards and elves etc. Somewhat reminiscent of the Rocky Horror Picture Show, the dressing up that is.

Mean Kingdom (Nature show): Animals eat each other and piss on plants.

Coke or Pepsi? (Gameshow/Paid Advertisement): People try to guess if the beverage they have just tasted is Coke or Pepsi. First prize can be anything from an above ground pool to a package of paper plates. In color!

Save The Buffalo (Reality series): Ecologists save a buffalo who has eaten a McDonalds Big Mac.

Blood Tastes Good (sitcom): Sasha gets her period again and Tommy goes down on her again. Tommys mom comes knocking, though. Tommy needs a plan- quick! Humor and madcap antics follow.

Tito Live (Talk show): Tito talks about his brother Michael Jackson and some other stuff.

Nazi Death Camp ( Cartoon)

I like the "Shockingly Entertaining!" blurb. "I just knew this was going to be a piece of shit when I started watching it, but no, it's entertaining!"
