Have yet to see the first season of American Horror Story...haven't found it to rent...but we have Netflix through Apple TV, so maybe I'll see it there--really don't want to plop down the bucks for it. Season two some didn't like, but I did. This season I had high hopes for, and though I love the costume design and song choices--okay, there have been some interesting scenes---I've been kind of disappointed in it, although it has quite the stellar cast.

I'll have to check this one out. Do you have Black And Blue? I'd recommend it.

...and after the early show, there's nothing left to do but watch the late show. Fortunately, there isn't much overlap of songs, so it's like one loooooong concert.

A few months back, watched seasons 1-5 of Sons Of Anarchy while I waited for season 6 to begin. Now that it's over, wonder what will happen during the possibly final season. Received season 6 of Mad Men for Xmas and watched it over about two days...it's final season is upcoming in a few months...can't wait. Just the final scene of the last show of season six when Sally looks at Don/Dick almost as if she's at last understanding him got me kinda choked up. I care not if it's turned into soap operaland (that happened awhile ago.), it's still incredibly watchable.

Bought Ferris Bueller's Day Off and Grease for five bucks each at Target...not afraid to use my card there....fun to watch, fer sure.

Stopped at Walgreen's after a long day's work at Macy's (leaving after midnight) to grab a few things and looked at the DVD table. Mainly grade C and D movies with no-name or semi-name stars...when I suddenly see a copy of: American Splendor. !!!! Huh, wha? Incredible movie amongst the dreck? Yes, I'll buy! Commentary with the writers, the real Harvey Pekar, his wife and their daughter, the real Toby, Paul Giammati (forgive the spelling) and Judah Friedlander---who is amazing as Toby. Very fun to listen to, and one of my favorite left-of-center movies.

As for SOA, maybe one or two will be left, but they'll all die. I think.

I'm with ya on that Cal, either that or Wayne will be left standing and he's got terminal cancer, so....

Purchased Gladiator and watched it with commentary...will have to view again as I FELL ASLEEP during the movie! Ridley Scott and Russell Crowe are having a good time while chatting about the movie during the extended version.

Just for 70's nostalgia and to enjoy some un-PC humor, bought a collection of Dean Martin Roasts. I remember watching the originals, and liking them...now I'll find out if my memory failed me.
